But others, such as Teixeira, warn the only example of this in a presidential race aside from 2020 is 2016,\u200d when Clinton lost on\u200b the strategy.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Targeting the Middle Ground<\/h3>\n<p>Instead, he said Biden needs \u200bto seek out \u200bvoters in the middle who are\u200c perhaps disillusioned by\u200b Trump&#8217;s right wing and the &#8220;cultural radicalism&#8221; within the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed to successes in Alaska, where &#8220;they&#8217;ve \u2063allowed \u2062more oil and gas permits than \u200cany\u2062 previous administration, and that&#8217;s a lot \u200cof the reason why the energy situation hasn&#8217;t gotten as\u200d dire.&#8221; But Biden hasn&#8217;t highlighted\u200d this, Teixeira\u2062 said, \u2064for fear of the\u2064 progressive wing.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2063 also missed\u2064 an opportunity to promote his action on the southern\u2064 border, \u200che noted. &#8220;He did this thing recently where we&#8217;re going to allow a \u200ccertain \u2064portion of the wall to\u2062 be built between the U.S. and\u2062 Mexico.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Overlooking \u2062Border Security<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;But the immediate take on that \u200cwas, &#8216;Well, you\u200d know, \u200dthey forced me to do it. They \u2062put \u2062a gun to my head. It&#8217;s in the law.&#8217; And they&#8217;re not going to talk about\u200b that,&#8221; Teixeira said. &#8220;They&#8217;re not going to \u200btalk about \u2063<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-red-wave-of-conservative-women-elected-to-congress\/\" title=\"The Red Wave of Conservative Women Elected to Congress\">border security<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> What factors contributed to Biden&#8217;s victory in the 2020 election, according to\u200b Teixeira?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Oric may not be an effective strategy for Biden in the next presidential election. Teixeira argued that although Trump&#8217;s controversial personality and\u200d rhetoric were major factors in the 2016 election, they may \u200bnot be the main focus \u200dfor\u2064 voters \u2062in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Teixeira pointed out that \u2062Biden&#8217;s victory in the\u200c 2020 election was mainly due to focusing on issues\u2062 such as healthcare, the pandemic response, and his \u2062ability to unite the country. He warned that if Biden and the Democrats solely\u200d rely on attacking Trump&#8217;s personality without offering a clear\u200d vision and\u2062 policy agenda, it \u200dmay backfire and result in a loss.<\/p>\n<p>The strategist emphasized \u2063the importance \u200bof appealing to voters based on their\u2063 concerns and \u200caspirations for the future. He stated, &#8220;People \u2062don&#8217;t \u2063vote for politicians they \u200cdon&#8217;t\u200c like, but they also don&#8217;t vote for politicians they can&#8217;t imagine \u200beffectively\u200c addressing their \u200bproblems\u2062 and aspirations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Teixeira also discussed the need for\u200d the Democratic \u2063Party to \u200barticulate a strong and\u200c compelling message that\u200c resonates with a broad range of voters.
