That\u2019s nothing new, nor is it\u200b anything shocking. As I\u2019ve\u200b said before, \u200cDonald Trump\u2019s epitaph \u2062may end \u2063up \u200creading, \u201cDonald Trump, 45th President of the United States: He Said A Lot Of Stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With this particular statement, Trump set the internet ablaze by saying, \u201cWe will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists, and the radical-Left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country. \u2026 \u2064The threat from outside forces is far \u200cless sinister,\u2062 dangerous, and grave than the threat\u200d from within.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, \u200dthat \u200bisn\u2019t exactly the best \u2063use of language. The use of language like \u201cvermin\u201d is ugly. But the media weren\u2019t content to make that point. They immediately went all the way to comparing Trump to Hitler,\u200b endlessly.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let it\u200c be said at\u2064 this point that Donald \u2064Trump isn\u2019t Hitler. Not only is\u200c he not Hitler, but he is also the\u2063 most pro-Israel and pro-Jewish president in American history, bar \u200dnone.<\/p>\n<p>But herein lies the\u2063 true insanity: Many of the \u200csame members of the media tone-policing Trump as a \u201cHitlerian\u201d figure have been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/for-the-media-trump-is-hitler-but-hamas-isnt\/\" title=\"Media portrays Trump as Hitler, but not Hamas.\">simultaneously pooh-poohing today\u2019<\/a>s actual Nazis, Hamas and their supporters. Figures like Mehdi Hasan and the rest of the hosts of MSNBC, who seem to\u2062 have made it their life\u2019s mission to downplay Hamas\u2019 evil in order to establish\u2062 moral equivalence with the Jewish State, are first on the bandwagon to sniff out Hitlerian references.<\/p>\n<p>Except for the people \u2063who\u200d actually love Hitler,\u2064 of course.<\/p>\n<h3>Elon Musk&#8217;s Controversial Tweet<\/h3>\n<p>Some of \u2064the\u200b same dynamic has \u200dbeen striking Elon Musk over the course\u200c of the \u200blast \u200d24 hours. Musk made a rather large X (Twitter) error last night. Someone\u200d on X posted the following message: \u201cJewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that \u200bthey claim to want people to stop using against them. I\u2019m deeply \u200ddisinterested \u200din giving the tiniest s*** now about\u200c western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization\u200d that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their \u2064country don\u2019t exactly like them too much. \u200dYou want truth said to your face,\u2064 there it is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Musk then tweeted in reply, \u201cYou have said the actual truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">You\u2064 have\u200b said the actual truth<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1724908287471272299?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 15, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So, it is true that certain Jewish organizations\u2064 have bought into\u2064 and promoted diversity, equity, and inclusion \u2064regimens and pushed\u200c for open borders; it is also true that some of those organizations are now realizing, post-October 7, that open immigration\u2062 for those who hate Jews wasn\u2019t a \u2064particularly wise idea.<\/p>\n<p>The problem with the tweet is that it labels \u201cJewish communities\u201d \u2063en masse. \u200dMy community, for example, has always opposed DEI and open borders \u200cfor radical Muslims. In fact, most Orthodox communities have. Presumably, then, Musk read \u201cJewish communities\u201d as \u201cADL.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And indeed, that\u2019s \u2063precisely\u2064 what Musk then clarified: \u201cThe ADL unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the \u200cWest supporting the Jewish people and Israel. This is because\u2063 they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are \u2064their primary threat. Very often, anti-Semitism \u2064becomes a political football: When you can hang the label on Donald Trump or Elon Musk, you do; when\u2064 you are forced\u200b to denounce pro-Hamas protesters shouting \u201cFrom the River to the Sea, Palestine Must Be Free,\u201d \u200cyou suddenly get quite shy.<\/p>\n<p>Thus,\u200c the same media that leapt\u200d on both Trump and Musk have been downplaying the open Jew-hatred at massive pro-Hamas protests across the globe, while propagating lies about Israel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/china-propaganda-outlet-uses-un-human-rights-chief-as-tool-to-whitewash-beijings-genocide\/\" title=\"China Propaganda Outlet Uses UN Human Rights Chief as Tool To Whitewash Beijing\u2019s Genocide\">supposed human rights violations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, they\u2019re focusing on their political enemies and deeming them acolytes of Hitler. That might have more bite if they would \u2064simultaneously spend some time talking about the actual acolytes of Hitler on planet earth, who are right now holding some\u200d 240 Jews and others hostage \u2064in Gaza. But those people are silent.<\/p>\n<h4>Celebrities and the Selective Outrage<\/h4>\n<p>Take, for example, the celebrity class. In 2014, the Islamic terrorist\u200d group Boko Haram kidnapped 276 \u200bmostly Christian female students in Nigeria. The celebrity class sprang into action. \u2064Michelle Obama. Ellen\u2062 DeGeneres. Queen Latifa. They all held up signs reading #BringBackOurGirls.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, it didn\u2019t work: One hundred of the girls are still missing. But\u200b that\u2019s not the point. The point is\u2064 that everybody sprang into action against Boko Haram, at least in principle.<\/p>\n<p>Have we seen any of these same celebrities holding up #BringBackOurBabies \u200bsigns for Americans being held hostage in Gaza? Not many.<\/p>\n<p>But we have \u200dseen members of the media like Gayle King lecture\u2062 a grieving Jewish father whose 8-year-old daughter\u200c is currently being\u200c held by Hamas: \u201cThis seems to be all about politics. What do \u200cyou say about that? You have innocent children,\u2064 Palestinians who are \u2063dying, innocent Israeli children who are dying, \u200cand no one seems to\u2063 be\u200d able to say enough, stop that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is plenty of Jew-hatred on planet earth. They downplay the\u200c evils of Hamas in order to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hamas-loves-dead-palestinians\/\" title=\"Hamas's Affection for Deceased Palestinians\">establish moral equivalence<\/a> with the Jewish state. This double standard \u2064is not\u2063 only hypocritical but also dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to clarify that neither Trump\u200d nor\u2064 Musk are \u2063advocating for hate or violence against \u200dany specific group. Their comments, while controversial, should not be misconstrued or \u200dsensationalized to\u200d fit a particular narrative.\u2063 However, the media&#8217;s relentless \u2063comparison of Trump to Hitler and the labeling of Musk as a crypto-Nazi is \u2063not only unfounded but also damaging to their reputations.<\/p>\n<p>In Trump&#8217;s case, \u200dit is evident that he has been \u2063one of the most pro-Israel\u2062 and pro-Jewish presidents in \u2062American history. To equate him with Hitler \u200cis not only ignorant but also disrespectful to \u200bthe millions of lives lost \u200bduring the Holocaust. Similarly, Musk&#8217;s tweet should be \u200bunderstood in context. He was referring to specific organizations and their support \u200cfor certain policies, not \u2062making a sweeping statement about the entire\u200d Jewish community.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200b underlying issue here is the selective outrage and bias exhibited by certain media outlets and \u200bindividuals. The media&#8217;s tendency to sensationalize and demonize certain individuals undermines the importance of addressing real threats \u2063like \u2064anti-Semitism and terrorism.
