Unfortunately, that hasn\u2019t\u200c always \u200bbeen the case over the last few years.<\/p>\n<h3>Does the NFL know that being an Arizona Cardinals fan is hard enough without being bombarded with\u200d political, racial and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/aaron-rodgers-challenges-mr-pfizer-vaccine-debate-featuring-rfk-jr-fauci\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vaccine<\/a> messages?<\/h3>\n<p>The NFL\u2019s most \u2063talked about player, Travis Kelce, isn\u2019t talked about due to his performance on the field, but rather his relationship with singer \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/broncos-use-taylor-swifts-music-boyfriend-upsetting-chiefs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Swift<\/a> and his keen liking to his nickname \u2063of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/aaron-rodgers-gives-vaccine-spokesman-travis-kelce-new-nickname-live-espn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mr. Pfizer<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Every once in a while though, some \u200cfans of the game are treated with a little glimmer\u200b of hope that the game has not been lost to bunch of progressive, out-of-touch superstars. Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud broke the mold.<\/p>\n<p>If you didn\u2019t catch it last\u200c Sunday, we don\u2019t blame you. \u200cThis isn\u2019t \u2063something that\u200b ESPN\u2064 would\u2064 be broadcasting after\u2062 it mocked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/stephen-smith-spills-beans-espn-explains-really-felt-tim-tebow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tim Tebow<\/a> \u200dand Christianity out of the league.<\/p>\n<p>First, C.J. Stroud led the Texans to a resounding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-weekend-sports-recap\/\" title=\"The Weekend Sports Recap\">comeback victory<\/a>\u200c over the heavily favored Cincinnati Bengals.<\/p>\n<p>Despite filling up the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/boxscore\/_\/gameId\/401547526\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">boxscore<\/a> by going 23-39, throwing for over 350 yards and \u2062scoring a pair of touchdowns, Stroud was most impressive by his decision off the field.<\/p>\n<p>Following the comeback victory, a reporter asked Stroud how he is able to handle all the chaos happening on the field. Stroud gave all the glory to God.<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cFor me, I\u200b mean, it\u2019s a\u200c lot \u200dof prayer. A lot of just knowing that man, \u200dGod wouldn\u2019t put anything on me that I can\u2019t \u200chandle,\u201d Stroud explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t deserve His grace\u200b and His mercy, but He still gives it to me, and I love Him for that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not about me,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-texans-phenom-cj-stroud-goes-viral-with-spirit-filled-message-following-comeback-win\/\" title=\"Watch: Texans Phenom CJ Stroud Goes Viral with Spirit-Filled Message Following Comeback Win\">quarterback proudly stated<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s about Him and His glory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sure, it doesn\u2019t seem like a lot that Stroud is \u200cgiving credit to the almighty God to a room full of reporters probably \u2062unreceptive to the message anyway, but the video was seen thousands of times on the internet thanks to a viral post.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cI don\u2019t deserve His grace and His mercy, but He still gives it to me and I love Him for that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not about me, it\u2019s about Him \u2063and\u200c His glory. It was a breath \u200dof fresh\u2063 air in a room that has\u2064 been suffocated\u2063 by players our kids should not be\u2062 admiring.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of Stroud\u2019s unabashed declaration\u200d of God, hundreds of thousands of \u200dpeople got to hear about the loving \u2063grace of our Father. Who knows, maybe\u200b as a result of that speech,\u200c someone became\u200c more receptive to Jesus.
