The Democratic-dominated government has long since made clear it doesn\u2019t give a damn about ordinary\u200b citizens.<\/p>\n<p>It also wasn\u2019t done simply for\u2062 the\u2064 benefit\u200b of the jet-setting summiteers and the millions of dollars they\u2019re going to be pumping into the San\u2062 Francisco economy.<\/p>\n<p>It was done for the benefit of \u200da national \u200cAmerican audience \u2014 normal people who might be catching a \u200cglimpse of the APEC summit\u200d on the news or reading about it online and seeing images \u2064of San Francisco as it looks at its best, when almost any view of the\u2064 city at any point\u200b is almost heart-breakingly beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>And, ultimately, it was done for\u200d the\u200b benefit of Gavin Newsom, a man whose magazine-ad good looks, sculpted hair, and <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/11\/10\/news\/san-francisco-clears-drug-addicts-and-homeless-out-of-downtown-ahead-of-biden-and-xi-jinping-summit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ruling-class hypocrisy<\/a> make a virtual caricature of West\u2063 Coast, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/shapiro-wokeifying-americas-military\/\" title=\"SHAPIRO: Wokeifying America\u2019s Military\">left-wing politics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Newsom has said all the right things for an ambitious Democrat with a doddering Democrat in the Oval Office \u2014 pledging his support for President Joe Biden while Biden runs for re-election.
