But\u2063 that\u2019s exactly what happened last week, when ex-Disney star turned \u2063mediocre pop\u200c singer Sabrina Carpenter posted the music video for \u200bher new single \u201cFeather,\u201d where she desecrates a Catholic church and glorifies the killing of men. Thus far, the video has garnered over 6 million views.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sabrina Carpenter - Feather (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kLbn61Z4LDI?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Feather: A Dark Feminist Fantasy<\/h3>\n<p>Feather creates a fantasy world that finds Carpenter enabling and \u2062enjoying the deaths of the men who hit on her. In the first scene, a group of men, distracted from catcalling Carpenter, are struck by a truck, \u2062to \u2062which\u2064 Carpenter responds with a simple shrug.<\/p>\n<p>In another part of the video, Carpenter catches a man taking a\u2063 photo up her skirt in an elevator.\u200c To get back \u200cat him, she pretends to seduce him and then traps his\u2064 tie in the\u200c elevator door, decapitating the man. The viewer \u200bwatches Carpenter smile and wave as blood streams from the top of the elevator.<\/p>\n<p>In response to\u2063 the deaths, Carpenter cheerily sings, \u201cI feel so much lighter like a feather with you out my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The message from the music video is clear: men\u2019s \u201ctoxic\u201d masculinity turns them into serial sex harassers, and in this female fantasy, a satisfied Carpenter gets to watch \u200cthem all die gruesome deaths.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Weaponizing Sex<\/h2>\n<p>Perhaps the most disturbing but\u200d telling scene is when Carpenter \u201cworks out\u201d in an all-male gym. Throughout the entire video, Carpenter is scantily dressed, but her gym outfit is \u2064particularly revealing, as she\u2019s wearing a cutout \u200bbodysuit and heels.<\/p>\n<p>The outfit would be more appropriate\u2063 for pole dancing than working out. Indeed, Carpenter <em>doesn\u2019t<\/em> work out; she simply prances around and stares at herself in the mirror while the men gawk at her and try to get her attention. Eventually, to Carpenter\u2019s mild surprise, the men turn animalistic and begin to kill one another over Carpenter, splattering blood everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>The scene is actually somewhat reminiscent of everyday \u200cgym\u200d culture (without the gore). \u2064The internet is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/CmUy9HAPA5I\/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">replete<\/a> with videos of women \u200ddressed\u200c in highly-revealing workout clothes, who then record and put random male strangers on blast for staring at them.<\/p>\n<p>From a moral standpoint, men should try to avert their eyes, but \u2063barely-dressed women will never be fully free of the male gaze. Feminists \u200chave dangerously\u2063 contended that clothing is just clothing and should not signal\u200c anything to men.<\/p>\n<p>As renowned feminist Camille Paglia <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/3444749\/camille-paglia-the-modern-campus-cannot-comprehend-evil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explained<\/a>, however, \u201cIt \u2064is\u200c well-established that the visual faculties play\u2064 a bigger role in male \u2064sexuality,\u201d \u200dand it\u200d is foolish \u200cfor women to \u201cassume that bared flesh and sexy clothes are just a fashion statement containing\u2063 no messages that might be misread and twisted by a psychotic.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Leftist Sacrilege Creates Weak Men and Women<\/h2>\n<p>Toward the end of \u200bthe video, Carpenter \u200bdances on the altar of a real Brooklyn, \u2063New York, Catholic church while wearing \u200da short black dress with her butt cheeks showing. Placed \u2062on the altar are pastel coffins\u200c for the men\u200d killed throughout her video. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/new-york-bishop-condemns-sabrina-carpenter-music-video-filmed-catholic-church-appalled\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">After<\/a> seeing the video, the local bishop\u2063 condemned it, blessed the church, and\u200d put the rector who approved the church\u2019s participation on leave.)<\/p>\n<p>There is something\u2062 striking \u2063about Carpenter desecrating a church to celebrate her feminist utopia filled with male \u2063corpses. In some cases, Carpenter\u2019s scant outfits, which feminists tell her\u2063 are harmless and\u200b her right to wear, lead to disaster. Real sexual harassment and rape do occur, but, as I said before, it is \u200bnot a consequence \u200bof\u2064 \u201ctoxic masculinity\u201d but\u2063 immorality.<\/p>\n<p>It is leftists like \u200cCarpenter who reject the Christian values and principles that <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/04\/12\/how-rejecting-biblical-masculinity-turns-men-from-protectors-to-predators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">originally condemned<\/a> sexual abuse and taught men to harness their inclinations \u2062toward competitiveness and aggression for the protection of\u2062 their communities and\u2063 families.<\/p>\n<p>It is also the left that rejects the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-magazine-hates-that-uppity-clarence-thomas-and-his-white-wife\/\" title=\"NY Magazine Disapproves of Clarence Thomas and His Interracial Marriage\">sexual propriety<\/a> and modesty Christianity instills in women. She stokes division and hatred between the sexes. She degrades and objectifies herself and then acts shocked and vengeful when others do not \u2064respect her for \u2063it. Men and women are not diametrically \u2063opposed. We are meant to be partners who build families and societies together \u200cvia our unique, complementary gifts.
