They\u2019ll all pretend to be \u2064very\u2063 concerned by it. But in\u200c fact,\u2063 this behavior happens all the time, and the media loves it \u200dwhen it happens, because it lets them fill \u200dair \u200btime on slow \u200cnews days.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The Outrageous Behavior of Climate Activists<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There\u2019s maybe no more obvious example of this\u200c phenomenon than so-called \u201cprotests\u201d by climate\u200c activists. Every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fed-up-man-shoots-climate-activists-blocking-highway\/\" title=\"Fed Up Man Shoots Climate Activists Blocking Highway\">time purple-haired climate nuts deface<\/a> \u200da historic work of art, or throw paint on the side\u2063 of a building, it\u2019s usually good for a quick 2-minute segment on cable news and a few viral posts on social media. \u201cWhy are those theater kids so upset with the Mona Lisa?\u201d, befuddled panelists will ask themselves. \u201cWhy are the Oberlin sophomores at the Sunrise Movement surrounding that politician who\u2019s just trying to get to his car? They sure are crazy!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This kind of\u200c thing happens constantly. At this \u2064point, \u2062you can only roll your eyes when you see it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And you\u2019ve been seeing a lot\u2064 of it lately. A few days\u200d ago, for example, climate activists\u200d <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/just-stop-oil-national-gallery-climate-protest-venus-painting-3c403a36f14cb4ac2521ddf9d70f3654\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">smashed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  the glass protecting Velazquez\u2019s Venus painting in\u200c London\u2019s National Gallery. And before that, \u200bjust a few weeks ago, protesters <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2023\/08\/24\/climate-protest-arrest-dinosaur-natural-history-museum-smithsonian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">glued\u2063 themselves<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u2063to\u200d signs in the National Museum \u2064of Natural History in \u2062Washington. There are many more examples, but the point is, these climate lunatics\u2064 act \u200cout and deface\u200c property all the time. \u200dAnd then there\u2019s some angry news segments about\u2063 it\u2062 and then everyone moves on.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1260-fed-up-man-shoots-climate-activists-blocking-highway-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is the familiar cycle. Radicals who are fixated on climate change,\u200c almost all of whom\u2062 are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/shapiro-how-blue-city-governance-is-destroying-blue-cities\/\" title=\"SHAPIRO: How Blue City Governance Is Destroying Blue Cities\">severely mentally ill<\/a>, are treated \u2064as\u200b nuisances. In fact, we often pity them, because they \u2064obviously have no idea what they\u2019re\u2063 talking about, nor do they remotely understand how to persuade others to join \u2064their\u200b cause, and they are in\u200d general hopelessly deluded. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But the truth \u200d\u2014\u2063 which no one wants to say out \u200cloud, for \u200csome \u200breason\u2062 \u2014 is that these climate activists are not simply nuisances. They are,\u2062 instead, a mortal threat to sane people everywhere. They\u200c are enemies \u2063of civilization who endanger the lives of innocents. If you don\u2019t believe\u2063 that, or if\u2064 that sounds too extreme, \u200cconsider\u200b this story from 24-hours ago, which corporate\u2063 media in\u2064 the United States has not covered at all. As the Telegraph <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20231108111056\/https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2023\/11\/08\/paramedic-life-or-death-emergency-just-stop-oil-protest\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the group \u201cJust Stop Oil\u201d gathered at London\u2019s Waterloo \u2062bridge, where they\u200c blocked an ambulance carrying a patient with a\u2063 \u201clife-or-death\u201d injury. \u200dHere\u2019s what \u2063that looked\u2064 like:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20231108111056\/https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2023\/11\/08\/paramedic-life-or-death-emergency-just-stop-oil-protest\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the Telegraph<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, in this episode, \u201cAn ambulance arrived with blue lights and sirens \u200cbut was held up in traffic for ten minutes.\u200c The driver of the ambulance told The Telegraph: \u2018I am responding to \u2062a life-and-death emergency\u200d \u2014 \u200dI am going to pick up a team from Guy\u2019s hospital to save someone\u2019s life at another hospital but\u2062 can\u2019t get through.&#8217;\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Apparently, this ambulance driver \u200bwas on his way \u200dto another \u2064hospital \u2064on \u200cbehalf \u2063of a\u200b patient whose lungs had stopped working, someone who needed urgent medical attention. So, as the\u200b Telegraph reported, the ambulance driver, \u201cpleaded \u2062with \u200bpolice\u200c officers\u2063 to let him through on multiple occasions \u2063as he became increasingly angry. Officers said they were \u2063working to let him through as \u2062quickly as they could as activists lay on the ground.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this\u200b case, as far as I\u200b can tell, the patient in the ambulance survived,\u200b thankfully. But ask \u2063yourself this question: \u200bWhy\u200c haven\u2019t you heard \u200dthis story? How many reports\u2063 have you heard\u200c about climate activists tossing paint in museums? Why is the media reporting about that, and not\u200b the people these climate activists \u2064nearly killed?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It\u2019s worth answering that question, especially \u2062since, unfortunately, people have\u200d died during \u2014 and perhaps because\u200b of \u2014 these unhinged climate protests. Here\u2019s one example, \u2062which also received zero attention\u2062 from\u200b our\u2063 media. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A year ago this month, a cyclist in Berlin died \u2062after\u2064 climate activists <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-63517102\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">prevented<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u2062her from getting\u2064 to the \u200dhospital. As the BBC \u2062reported,\u2064 the 44-year-old woman was hit by a concrete truck. And then, \u201cThe fire\u200b service says a specialist rescue vehicle was delayed by traffic\u2062 because\u2062 of a climate protest held by a \u2062group \u200ccalled \u2018Last \u200cGeneration\u2019.\u201d A senior \u200dGreen Party figure condemned the climate protesters after the woman\u2019s death, saying, \u201cAnyone \u2063who \u200brisks the health\u2062 and life of others loses \u200dall legitimacy and also\u2062 harms the climate movement itself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What\u2019s left unsaid here \u2014 and what really needs to be said \u2014 \u2064is that\u2064 anyone who \u2063blocks traffic is \u201crisking the health and\u200d life\u2063 of others.\u201d They are guilty of\u200b reckless endangerment at a minimum, and murder if \u200dsomeone dies as a result of their \u200blittle blockade. It \u2063is little different, morally,\u200b from someone who\u2064 goes outside and starts firing a gun\u200c into the air at random\u2062 targets. Maybe they won\u2019t hit anyone. Maybe they aren\u2019t trying to hit anyone. But they are doing something incredibly reckless, with total disregard \u200dfor the damage it may cause.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But that\u2019s not how\u2064 these\u200d people \u2064are being treated.\u200c Instead, with very few exceptions, police\u2063 officers are \u2064allowing climate activists to blockade roads with total impunity. That\u2019s been <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12728101\/kenneth-darlington-panama-climate-change-protesters-shoot-dead.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">happening in Panama<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  for the past three weeks.\u200b As The Daily Mail reports, \u201cRoad \u200bblocks set up by\u2063 protesters have caused up to \u2063$80 \u200cmillion in \u200cdaily losses to businesses, according to Panama\u2019s association of \u2063company executives, with \u2064schools \u200cclosed nationwide for \u2062over \u2062a week \u2062and more than 150,000 medical appointments missed.\u201d\u2062 These protesters are blocking a major \u200cthoroughfare \u2014\u2063 the Pan-American Highway, roughly 50 miles west of Panama City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The\u200d point of this\u200b \u2018protest,\u2019 apparently, is that \u200cPanama\u2019s government signed \u2062a\u2062 deal with a Canadian company, giving \u200dthem 20 years\u2019 worth of mining rights. \u2062Whatever the motivation is, these blockades are \u200dclearly putting people\u2019s lives in danger. When more than a\u200b hundred thousand medical appointments are being missed, and businesses are suffering $80\u200b million in losses per day,\u200c then you are engaging in a violent protest. There is no\u2063 other way to frame it. When people miss medical appointments, they tend to get sicker. And some\u2064 of those people might die. A picture worth a thousand \u200bwords, \u2064as they\u2064 say. The most interesting thing about it is Darlington\u2019s expression. He\u2019s not\u2064 screaming. He doesn\u2019t\u2062 look enraged. He doesn\u2019t have the expression of a man who has gone\u200b totally insane. Instead \u200dhe looks exhausted. He looks tired. He \u200clooks like \u2063a man\u2063 simply fed up. There are\u200b a lot of people\u2064 like that in the world today. People who \u2064just want to live their \u2062lives, and yet\u200d they find, every step of the way,\u200d forces intentionally trying to\u2062 make their lives worse and more difficult. \u200cPeople\u2062 who have\u200b watched the\u200b total breakdown of \u2064law and \u2062order,\u200d and who have\u200d been pushed to the \u2064brink, and over it, because\u200b of it.
