Write about the possibilities,\u200c not \u200cthe certainties.<\/p>\n<p>But, while I\u200c have edited Dick Morris in\u200c the \u2064past, he \u200cwas never one of \u201cmy\u201d writers,\u200c so he never got that piece of advice from me. Not that it really matters, as I don\u2019t think he would have \u2063heeded\u2063 it anyway. Pundits have to go\u2063 out on limbs sometimes \u2063if \u2063they want people to listen to them\u200c \u2014 and if no one\u2063 listens to \u2064you,\u200b you\u2019re not\u2063 much of a \u2064pundit, are\u200b you?<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s probably why \u2014\u2064 or, to be\u200d honest, likely at least <em>part<\/em> of\u200d why\u2063 \u2014 Morris\u200b told Newsmax on \u200cWednesday that he didn\u2019t expect President Joe Biden to \u2062actually be\u200d on the ballot\u200b next November.<\/p>\n<p>Morris appeared on Newsmax\u2019s \u2063\u201cWake Up America\u201d\u2064 Wednesday, the day after the off-year \u2063elections in\u2062 much\u200b of\u200d the country, where\u2063 he was asked about his theory.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Host Rob \u2064Finnerty started the questioning\u2062 with a\u200d quote from a Monday piece in the New York Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMorris suggested\u2062 that the \u200bDemocratic\u200c National Committee may see the writing \u200don \u2063the wall and refuse\u200b to give Biden \u2062delegates, opening\u200c the door to \u200bother Democrats such as California Gov. Gavin Newsom and transportation \u2062Secretary Pete Buttigieg,\u201d read the \u200dclip from the piece by Diana Glebova that \u200bthe \u200cshow displayed \u2062as they introduced the topic.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Finnerty said that, prior to Election Day, the\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ex-clinton-adviser-biden-will-drop-out-days-before-democratic-national-convention\/\" title=\"Ex-Clinton Adviser: Biden Will Drop Out Days Before Democratic National Convention\">major political story<\/a> was \u200bhow weak\u200b Biden looked headed into 2024. However, given the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/conservatives-call-gop-chair-ronna-mcdaniel-resign-brutal-election-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">numerous Democratic \u200bwins<\/a> \u200cin other races across the country Tuesday, Democrats were\u2063 trying\u2062 to \u201cspin\u201d those results into \u201ca huge \u2064positive thing\u201d for their 2024 candidates.<\/p>\n<p>But, \u2064Morris said,\u2063 if \u2063that\u2019s not\u200c what they really \u2064believe, there\u2019s a way they \u2064could run a \u2064more \u2063popular candidate next year, even at this late date.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe\u200d way they would do it,\u201d Morris \u2062said,\u200c \u201d is that\u200c Biden would \u200brun in all of these primaries, and since \u200che\u2019s largely unopposed, the\u200b assumption is that\u2062 he\u2019d win and \u200chave Biden delegates at the [Democratic National] \u2063Convention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019d keep them until a few days \u200bbefore \u200dthe convention,\u201d he said, \u201cand \u2063then he would\u2063 announce he\u2019s not \u2064running, release his delegates, and\u2062 there would be a \u200dfloor fight for the nomination, but\u2063 at least there\u200d wouldn\u2019t be a long primary battle.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Morris said that\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/revealed-major-free-pass-deadbeat-parents-included-newsoms-controversial-reparations-task-force-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">many of the \u200dpositions<\/a> \u200cheld by potential Democratic candidates are\u200d so unpopular among the American electorate that the \u2063party doesn\u2019t want to see a primary fight that would damage its \u2062eventual nominee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason \u200dthey\u2019re \u200dafraid of \u2062that is they don\u2019t want their candidates out there defending reparations for slavery and men participating in women\u2019s sports, all of the stuff that hangs up the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo they\u2064 want to do it quickly,\u2062 painlessly,\u201d he concluded. \u201cEuthanasia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You \u2064can watch\u2062 the clip here:<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/latest_polls\/elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RealClearPolitics<\/a> average of polls shows Biden currently losing\u200d to Republican \u200bfront-runner former\u2062 President \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-leads-biden-significant-margin-crucial-swing-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> by \u200cabout \u20641.4 percent of the popular vote.
