There\u2019s no doubt about it,\u201d Chalian said after \u200bnews of the Ohio referendum\u2063 broke as well along with the re-election of Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andrew\u2062 Beshear, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/11\/08\/media\/cnn-analyst-says-poll-numbers-spell-bad-news-for-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>No, there was no doubt about it.<\/p>\n<p>But what Chalian said next provided plenty of doubt for Democrats \u200babout the \u2064presidential election \u2014 and the man who now\u200b holds the White House.<\/p>\n<p>And he used CNN\u2019s own poll results to \u2064make\u200d the point.<\/p>\n<p>Check it\u200d out here:<\/p>\n<p>Watch \u2064the latest\u2062 video at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\">foxnews.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe\u2063 country has soured on \u2064Joe Biden,\u201d Chalian said, before presenting numbers that should have been a\u2062 buzzkill to any Democrat getting high on\u2063 Tuesday night\u2019s results.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s job performance has the approval of only\u200b 39\u2064 percent of those polled versus 61 percent who\u2062 disapprove.<\/p>\n<p>Seventy-two\u200c percent of Americans think things \u200care going badly in the U.S., versus only 23 \u200bpercent who think they\u2019re going well.<\/p>\n<p>And on a personal level, 74 percent of those polled don\u2019t think the octagenarian Biden has the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-donald-trump-says-joe-biden-not-old-president-will-age-become-factor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">physical stamina<\/a> \u2064to do the job of the \u200cpresidency,\u200b versus only 25 percent who think he does.<\/p>\n<p>Those \u2064are numbers that matter now, and they\u2019re not likely to look much better for Biden 12 months from now when they\u2019re going to matter a lot more \u2014 assuming he\u2019s the Democrats\u2019 2024 nominee.<\/p>\n<p>Now, whether Biden \u200bis actually going to be the \u20632024 nominee isn\u2019t yet set in stone.<\/p>\n<p>Similar poll numbers published Sunday by the liberal Democratic newsletter known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2023\/11\/07\/us\/elections\/times-siena-battlegrounds-registered-voters.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> raised similar concerns \u2014 showing former \u2064President Donald Trump beating Biden by five swing states that will\u200c be crucial to the 2024 Electoral College vote.<\/p>\n<p>Former Obama campaign guru David Axelrod caused a major stir in political circles \u2063on Sunday when he used\u2062 that poll to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ex-obama-official-warns-biden-time-decide-stakes-dramatic-ignore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publicly hint<\/a> that Biden should step aside now, for the good of his party.<\/p>\n<p>That would suit the argument at CNN, where Chalian declared, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4298949-cnn-analyst-biden-in-trouble-not-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a> that, \u201cWhat we\u2019re seeing tonight \u2062is, the Democratic brand is not in trouble here. And since winning the 2020 primary race as the \u201cmoderate\u201d in a pack of raving leftists, he\u2019s been a creature of the ever more progressive left wing of his party.<\/p>\n<p>A nearly religious zeal for the\u200c \u201cright\u201d to an abortion, open borders, an obsession with race, a willingness to sacrifice the country\u2019s economy and energy independence\u200d on the altar of climate change, a literally insane insistence that the bodies men and women are born with \u2063do not determine which are women and which are men.<\/p>\n<p>All of these are hallmarks of the \u2063Biden presidency not because of Joe Biden\u2019s \u200bbeliefs, but because they\u2019re the \u200dbeliefs of the leftists who have taken over the Democratic Party. Changing the figurehead \u2062won\u2019t change \u200cthe\u2062 direction of the ship.<\/p>\n<p>And on all of them, with the major exception of abortion, it\u2019s conservatives \u200cand Republicans who can\u200d win \u200bthe argument today, tomorrow and in\u2062 2024 \u2063\u2014 on objective evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Illegal immigration is swamping the country to the\u2064 point\u200c where even liberal New Yorkers are \u200cfurious. The progressive insistence on \u2064electric vehicles, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/not-just-gas-stoves-biden-administration-announces-crackdown-another-appliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-official-tries-to-walk-back-gas-stove-ban-talk\/\" title=\"Biden Official Tries to Walk Back Gas Stove Ban Talk\">banning gas stoves<\/a><\/a> and the like are \u2064unpopular, unwieldy and unrealistic. As to the trans debate, men \u2062are \u2064not women, and women are not men, and \u2063everyone with\u200d honest eyes knows it. (Besides that reality, one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trans-activists-threw-everything-riley-gaines-one-brutal-message-men-dresses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Riley Gaines<\/a> is \u200dworth \u200b1,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/lia-thomas-pretends-woman-endorses-domestic-terrorism-3-words-shirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lia Thomases<\/a>. If there\u2019s going to be an\u2063 election on that, the right\u2019s victory is\u2062 assured.)<\/p>\n<p>That leaves abortion, which has always \u200bbeen a generational struggle \u2014 as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-women-shriek-celebration-right-murder-children-voted-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ohio\u2019s referendum on Tuesday<\/a> proved, the Supreme \u200dCourt\u2019s Dobbs ruling didn\u2019t change that. If anything, it\u200b made it even more intense by moving the issue \u2062back to the states.<\/p>\n<p>Winning American hearts and minds on that is going to be a question of decades. The reality is that the country\u2019s culture has marinated in \u200ca half-century of warped jurisprudence and establishment propaganda\u2062 in a culture infused with the idea of \u201crights\u201d and repulsed by the thought of \u201cresponsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Successfully making the argument that each and every life is precious is the challenge of American conservatives at the\u200c beginning of the 21st century. It will likely still be the challenge at the end of the century, \u200ctoo. But that\u2019s what life in a democratic Republic means.<\/p>\n<p>The mission is to convince \u200da majority of \u2063Americans \u2014 state by federalist state \u2014 \u200dthat having a decent economy in a secure environment in a country worth living in is more important\u200d than an\u200d invented right to destroy \u200ca human life in embryonic form, for whatever reason.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s no small task in the world we live in, but if it\u2019s any comfort, those never-ending Democratic ads that all seem to feature a\u2062 scolding voiceover from \u200bthe same shrewish white woman \u2014 or one of her sorority sisters \u2014 will have to start losing their \u200beffectiveness at some \u2064point. Even \u200cfeminists have to get tired of being shrieked at at some point.<\/p>\n<p>CNN might \u2062be an odd place for conservatives and Republicans looking for reasons to be optimistic after Tuesday\u2019s election results, but the numbers are there.<\/p>\n<p>The disaster of Biden\u2019s presidency \u2064isn\u2019t going to turn around in 12 months. If anything, Tuesday\u2019s results\u2063 are just\u200d going to embolden \u2063him.<\/p>\n<p>Chailan, \u200cAxelrod and other progressives are seeing the \u2063truth: That Americans have \u201csoured\u201d\u200d on Biden.<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s more to it than that.
