The families\u2063 highlighted their loved ones&#8217; ordeal on Oct. 7 and\u2064 asked for help in ensuring\u2064 their safe return home.<\/p>\n<h3>Democrats \u2062Spooked After Biden Shock \u2063Poll and Fret Trump White \u2064House Comeback<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been 30 days. \u200dEvery day is \u2064like an eternity to me,\u201d Doris Liber, mother \u200cof hostage \u2062Guy Iluz, 26, said. \u201cI\u2019m part of your people. You\u2019re part of Israel, and \u200bAmerica has been like the best ally. \u200dI\u2019m so proud of being \u200can American,\u2063 being an Israeli as well. But I do need you now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Republicans\u2064 also used the occasion to bash\u200b the Biden administration,\u200c with Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) directly blaming Hamas&#8217;s Oct. 7 attack on the \u2063Biden administration.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Under\u200b Joe Biden&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-republicans-appear-with-families-of-israeli-hostages-on-one-month-anniversary-of-hamas-attack\/\" title=\"House Republicans stand alongside Israeli hostage families on Hamas attack's one-month anniversary.\">failed\u2064 foreign policy agenda<\/a>, we&#8217;ve emboldened adversaries like the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist organization and \u200bleft our key allies vulnerable in their positions today,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It has \u200bnow been over\u200c a month since Hamas terrorists took innocent American hostages, and yet we have no resolution and no plan \u2063or strategy by the\u2063 administration. Steve Scalise (R-LA) said. &#8220;Hamas gave that\u200c up \u200don the 7th when they\u2064 went into villages and slaughtered people, when they\u200b attacked\u200c music festivals, peaceful music festivals, mowing\u2063 down people, taking more hostages, including American citizens, too, and so this is a war. This is a war that\u2064 the people of Israel\u2063 are resolved to confront. They are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/suspect-arrested-in-2001-killing-of-man-2-year-old-daughter-in-compton\/\" title=\"Suspect nabbed for 2001 murder of man and toddler in Compton.\">innocent victims caught<\/a> \u200din a political conflict, \u2062and \u2062it is \u2063time for their \u2063suffering to end.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Michael Liber, a 26-year-old dual citizen of the United States and Israel, was visiting\u2064 family in Israel when he was kidnapped by Hamas militants \u200bon September 7. Since then, his family has been tirelessly advocating for his release and working with the U.S. and Israeli\u2062 governments to \u2064bring him home \u2064safely.<\/p>\n<p>Also speaking at the press event were Amir and Yossi Cohen, brothers of another Israeli \u2062hostage, David Cohen. David was abducted by Hamas from his home in\u2063 Israel on the same day as Michael Liber. The Cohen brothers expressed their gratitude to the \u2063House Republican leaders for standing with them and their families during this difficult time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe \u200bappreciate the support\u2062 we have received from both the U.S. and Israeli governments, as \u2064well as the House\u200d Republican leaders,\u201d said Amir Cohen. \u201cBut we need more than just words. We need action. We need the international community to take a\u2062 united \u2062stand against \u200dterrorism and put pressure\u200c on Hamas to release our brother and the other hostages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>House Republican leaders, including\u2062 Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Minority Whip Steve Scalise, and Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, stood in \u2064solidarity with the families of the hostages. We will \u2062continue to \u2062work closely with the U.S. \u200cand Israeli governments to ensure their safe \u200crelease.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Minority Whip Scalise emphasized\u2064 the need for international cooperation in addressing the issue of hostage-taking by terrorist groups. He called on\u2064 countries around the world to come together and \u2063condemn Hamas \u200cfor their actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe taking of innocent lives and\u200d holding them hostage is a barbaric act that cannot be tolerated,\u201d said Minority Whip Scalise.\u2063 \u201cWe \u200curge our allies and partners to join us in demanding the immediate \u2062release of all hostages held by \u2063Hamas. We must stand up against terrorism and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conference Chair Stefanik echoed these sentiments and\u200c reaffirmed the commitment of House Republicans\u200b to supporting the families of the hostages and working toward their safe return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese families \u200bare going\u2064 through\u2063 unimaginable pain and uncertainty, and we stand with them in their fight for justice,\u201d said Conference Chair Stefanik. \u201cWe will use all our resources to ensure that Michael Liber, David Cohen, and the others are brought home safely.
