After reviewing more \u2062than \u200d700 ProPublica \u200barticles published between January 2022 and September 2023, Restoration\u200b News \u2064discovered that the outlet is <strong>\u201c23 times \u200cmore likely \u2062to attack conservatives \u200bthan the Left.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Political Bias Exposed<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cOf\u200c the 716 articles reviewed, 242 were politically\u200c slanted, with a large disparity between anti-liberal\u200b and \u200danti-leftist pieces,\u201d\u200d the report reads. \u201cIn total, 232 were anti-conservative and 10\u200c were anti-left.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>These \u200bnumbers aren\u2019t surprising when\u200b considering the political preferences of ProPublica\u2019s staff, many of whom ROA\u200c discovered are \u200bregistered Democrats. Of the more than half \u2064of staffers whose political affiliation\u200d could be determined (35 of 65), 27 were identified as Democrats while only three\u200d could be classified as Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsider that ProPublica is often characterized as a nonprofit \u2018watchdog\u2019 rather than as a partisan group\u200d by left-leaning\u2062 and \u2064\u2018mainstream\u2019 \u2062publications, if it\u2019s\u200b characterized at all,\u201d the report reads. \u201cContrast that with these same \u200bpublications\u2019\u200b treatment of conservative\u200c groups as biased, partisan, \u200dor ideologically \u2063motivated.
