After reviewing more than 700 ProPublica articles published between \u2063January 2022 and September 2023, Restoration News discovered that the outlet is\u2062 <strong>\u201c23 times more likely to attack conservatives than the Left.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Political Bias and Donor Influence<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Of the 716 articles reviewed, 242 were politically slanted, with a large disparity between \u200canti-liberal and anti-leftist \u2064pieces.<\/li>\n<li>In total,\u200d 232 were anti-conservative and 10 were anti-left.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>These \u2063numbers aren\u2019t surprising when considering the political preferences of ProPublica\u2019s staff, many of whom ROA discovered are registered Democrats. Throughout the past year, ProPublica has \u2064published numerous <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/propublica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hit pieces<\/a> against <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/04\/06\/propublica-exposes-clarence-thomas-he-has-a-rich-friend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clarence Thomas<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/30\/propublicas-smearing-of-conservative-justices-is-part-of-the-lefts-ploy-to-destroy-the-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Samuel Alito<\/a> \u2063 attempting to make it appear as \u2062if the high\u2063 court\u2019s most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-leftist-funded-propublica-attacks-conservatives-23-times-more-than-democrats\/\" title=\"Report: ProPublica, funded by leftists, disproportionately targets conservatives over Democrats, 23 times more frequently.\">conservative justices committed ethics violations<\/a> while serving on the bench\u200c (they didn\u2019t).
