And what is also true \u2062is that the occupation and what\u2019s\u2064 happening\u200d to Palestinians is unbearable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While acknowledging a history \u2064of the \u201cmadness of anti-Semitism,\u201d Obama\u200c said, \u201cthere \u200care people \u2062right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to solve the problem, \u200dthen you have to\u2063 take\u2063 in the whole truth,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd you then have to admit, nobody\u2019s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>First of all, \u200dexactly what \u201coccupation\u201d \u2063is Obama talking about? Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005, leaving its governance in the\u200b hands of the Palestinian people, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fact-check-israel-colonized-apartheid-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who promptly chose<\/a> a tyrannical\u2062 terrorist group in Hamas as their government. (Since\u200d Islamists don\u2019t\u2064 exactly do\u2062 democracy, the 2006 election\u200d that installed Hamas is an \u200dexercise that hasn\u2019t been repeated since.)<\/p>\n<p>Second, there are people dying in Gaza right now who might have \u2064\u201chad nothing to do\u201d\u200c with the Oct. 7 attack,\u200c but \u200btheir deaths are \u200cas much a part Hamas\u2019 plans \u2064as \u2062those of\u200d the Israeli young people murdered at a music festival. The terrorist group makes a practice of headquartering \u2062itself among civilians, hiding \u200cbehind\u2063 human shields of its own population and relying on Israeli reluctance to \u200dkill \u2063the innocent. (Don\u2019t expect to hear Obama or any other leftists mentioning that stomach-turning cowardice.)<\/p>\n<p>More \u2063to \u2063the point of Obama\u2019s statement,\u200d though, as an example\u2063 of the painfully obvious,\u2063 it was\u200d unparalleled. In a world \u2062full of imperfect \u2064humans, it\u2019s\u200c blindingly true that nobody\u2019s \u200dhands are\u200d clean. It\u2019s \u200calso blindingly true that some\u200c hands are stained\u200d red with the blood of innocent victims.<\/p>\n<p>And moral men understand that sometimes, something needs to be\u2064 done about that.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not an\u2063 argument \u2062that\u2019s going to be coming\u2062 from Barack Obama. He was a president \u200ddedicated to pursuing a ruinous nuclear deal \u200cwith Iran,\u2062 the globe\u2019s\u200b most powerful state sponsor of terrorism and\u2064 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-iranians-take-streets-anniversary-us-embassy-takeover-chanting-death-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fanatical\u200c enemy<\/a> of both the United States and \u2062Israel.
