The\u200d Times called that <strong>\u201ca level unseen in presidential politics for a Republican \u200din modern\u200c times.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Axios wrote that in a political environment where \u2064Hispanics\u200c often give Democrats a \u200c30-point \u2064margin \u2064over their rivals, Biden\u2019s lead among Hispanics has fallen to single digits\u2062 in each \u200bof the six\u2062 swing states.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet suggested pocketbook issues are driving the\u200d voters, citing Biden\u2019s job-costing \u200crejection of fossil fuels \u200bimpacting Hispanic voters \u200cand soaring costs putting cars \u2062and homes out of reach \u200bas a\u2063 driving force for many black voters.<\/p>\n<p>Although polls a year out from an election are notoriously imprecise \u200dindicators of voter mood months down\u200d the road, Axios\u2064 noted that the\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/endless-congressional-spending-plaguing-us-decades-started-1971\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">big-bucks bills<\/a> passed while Democrats controlled Congress\u200c have not swayed voters, leaving the party <strong>\u201cflummoxed\u201d<\/strong> over what will successfully woo them.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/11\/05\/us\/politics\/biden-trump-2024-poll.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Times<\/a> summed up its\u2062 polling \u200dthis way:\u200d <strong>\u201cDiscontent pulsates throughout the \u200bTimes\/Siena poll, \u2062with\u200d a majority of voters saying \u200dMr. Biden\u2019s policies have personally hurt them.\u2064 The \u2064survey also reveals \u2062the \u200bextent to which the\u200b multiracial and multigenerational coalition that elected Mr. Biden \u200dis fraying.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIn \u2063a remarkable sign\u200b of a gradual racial realignment \u2062between the two parties, the more diverse the swing state, the farther Mr. Biden was behind, \u200dand he led only in the whitest of the six,\u201d<\/strong> the Times\u200d said.<\/p>\n<p>It said voters want <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/video-bill-maher-message-trump-haters-one-tiki-torches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">competence<\/a>, noting \u2062that when\u200b asked if each had helped \u200bor hurt them, Trump\u2064 won with \u2062a 17-point advantage for having helped\u200d respondents, while\u2064 Biden \u200bhad an 18-point deficit for hurting them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe world is falling apart under Biden,\u201d said Spencer Weiss, 53, of Pennsylvania, who was a Biden supporter in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would much rather see somebody that I feel can \u2062be a positive role model leader for the country. But at least\u200c I think Trump has his \u200cwits about \u2064him,\u201d Weiss said.<\/p>\n<p>The Times surveyed 3,662 registered voters by phone from Oct. 22 to Friday. The poll has a margin of error \u200cof \u2063plus or minus 1.8\u2064 percentage points \u200bfor \u2063all registered voters, which grew to between\u2062 4.4 and 4.8 \u200dpercentage\u2062 points\u2064 at \u200dthe state level.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200d same trends were evident in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipsos.com\/en-us\/one-year-election-day-republicans-perceived-better-handling-economy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC News\/Ipsos poll<\/a> that showed only 23 percent of those \u200dresponding \u200dsaid the nation was moving in the\u2062 right direction.<\/p>\n<p>The survey found that 49 percent of black \u200drespondents and 33 percent of Hispanic\u200d respondents \u200chad a favorable view\u2063 of Biden. ABC said its 2020 exit polls found 87\u2063 percent \u200bof black voters and 65 percent of Hispanic\u2064 voters supported\u2063 Biden\u2062 then.<\/p>\n<p>The trend\u2064 continued in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/trump-vs-biden-poll-2024-presidential-election-year-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS\/YouGov<\/a> \u2064 poll that showed 45 \u200bpercent of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hispanic-trump-supporter-gives-dems-wake-call-cesar-chavez-support-trumps-immigration-stance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hispanic voters<\/a> said Biden would make them worse off if he\u2062 is \u200dre-elected.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3>A Note from Our Staff:<\/h3>\n<p><em><b>Did you\u2063 know that 90 percent of\u200c advertisers will have nothing to do with The\u2063 Western Journal?
