On Wednesday, 19-year-old Anissa Weier, along with her lawyers, made the case before a judge that she no longer poses a risk to others or herself.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In a letter to the court today, 19-year-old Anissa Weier, one of the girls convicted in the 2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Slenderman?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Slenderman<\/a> stabbing, explains why she believes she should be granted conditional release from a mental health facility. Leutner survived the attack, while Geyser was convicted and sentenced to 40 years in a mental health institution.<\/p>\n<p>Weier was sentenced to 25 years. Her attorney said she has responded well to treatment.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Anissa Weier is asking for a conditional release.
