However,\u2062 complaints quickly arose.<\/p>\n<p>Tracey Silver-Charan, a \u2063Los Angeles-based \u2064flight attendant \u2063with 37\u200b years of experience, described her ordeal, saying, &#8220;I would wake up and my eyes would be completely swollen.\u2062 I looked like I had been in a boxing match. I was unable\u2064 to breathe. \u200cI often felt like I was going to pass out\u200c on \u2062the job. I was coming home \u200band my husband was running me to the urgent care.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>American Airlines did \u200doffer flight attendants the option to continue \u2064wearing their old uniforms or choose outfits\u200d from\u200c Macy&#8217;s or JCPenney.
