A Crusade?<\/h2>\n<p>Who would have thought that\u2063 after Hamas launched a brutal \u2063campaign of butchery and moral depravity against Israel on Oct. 7 there would be people \u2062in the United States \u200baccusing President Biden of \u201cgenocide\u201d of Palestinians in supporting Israel\u2019s right to defend itself?<\/p>\n<p>And \u200dit\u2019s not just anybody hurling the accusations. Woke Rep. Rashida Tlaib from Michigan is one of them, \u200daccording to \u2062the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/2023\/11\/03\/rashida-tlaib-biden-genocide-gaza-israel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Post<\/a>. And she\u2019s stirring up support from the public on social media.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mtg-22-feckless-republicans-voted-dems-save-rashida-tlaib\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tlaib<\/a> posted\u2062 a video on social\u200c media with the caption, \u201cthe majority of the American people are not with you on this one.\u201d She doesn\u2019t care if it\u2019s true or not.\u200d The images on\u200b the clip \u2014 throngs of people protesting in favor of Hamas by way of Palestinian sympathizers\u00a0 \u200b\u2014 are designed to provoke emotional responses in her befuddled social media followers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>WARNING: The following \u2064video contains \u2062graphic footage that some may find disturbing . <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?\">@POTUS<\/a>, the majority of the American\u200c people are not with you on this \u200bone. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CeasefireNow?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#CeasefireNow<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rV97zrMkad\">pic.twitter.com\/rV97zrMkad<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RashidaTlaib\/status\/1720520713226908144?\">November 3, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The video starts\u200c by showing apparent footage of bombings and bloody scenes from the conflict. This\u200b sets up what amounts to a \u2063rhetorical flourish for Tlaib, \u201cMr. President, \u2064the American \u2062people are not \u200cwith \u200byou on this \u200cone. \u2026 We will remember \u2063in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the clip comes the punchline, \u201cJoe Biden supported\u2062 the genocide of the Palestinian people.\u2064 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rudy-giuliani-surrenders-fulton-county-da-ominous-warning-american-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American people<\/a> won\u2019t forget. \u2026 Biden, support a cease-fire now \u2026 or don\u2019t\u2063 count on us\u200b in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not sure\u2062 what Tlaib means by the \u201cAmerican people,\u201d because a Quinnipiac <a href=\"https:\/\/poll.qu.edu\/poll-release?releaseid=3880\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> conducted from Oct. 12 \u2013 16 showed that 76 percent of Americans \u200dare in favor of the U.S. supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ivy-league-schools-allowing-students-rally-israel-get-brutal-notice-top-law-firms-take-action\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tlaib\u2019s own party is divided. Democrat extraordinaire and former House speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pretty-damn-funny-ex-trump-aide-defends-texts-trolling-nancy-pelosi-jan-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nancy Pelosi<\/a> \u201cdefended\u200b her party\u2019s strong support of Israel\u2019s counterattack on Hamas\u201d while \u201cpushing back against recent \u200cdissent among some of her party\u2019s voters and protesters outside her San Francisco home,\u201d according the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/11\/02\/pelosi-israel-support-palestinians\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s no surprise that the Biden administration is waffling on the issue. They seem to be for Israel <em>and<\/em> for Hamas at the same time. Biden\u200c the warmonger <a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/biden-argues-american-support-israel-062007202.html?guccounter=1&#038;guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbS8&#038;guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAKJfa47Eom6inB-jyvLD2kE49FXTqEYSwdMGuGcsBMiit4VT5bwnZt29K9XqqWX3qLtUgCQazN6-VWVc5iPK-5w1K53GQd-UqcqbbwThDmsHi1jRR5egd7lfJCE1kCfZQNXIl7VlkFEBYGL6SI_6itarvBvfsd9ONO9Q2wXYOnQV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">argues<\/a> for aid to Israel and Ukraine, while peacemaker Secretary of\u200d State Antony Blinken\u200c goes to Israel to urge a ceasefire, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/11\/03\/news\/israel-refuses-temporary-ceasefire-spurning-blinken-call-for-pause\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Talk about mixed messages. The Democrats are clearly in disarray.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Democrats\u2019 sympathies have shifted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-undercover-tiktoker-pro-palestinian-rally-finds-protesters-feel-jews\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Palestinians<\/a> for\u200c the first time, \u200breported <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/472070\/democrats-sympathies-middle-east-shift-palestinians.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gallup<\/a>.\u2062 \u201cAfter a decade \u2063in which Democrats have shown increasing affinity toward the Palestinians, their sympathies in the Middle East now lie more\u2063 with the Palestinians than the Israelis,\u2064 49% versus 38%.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Independents have shifted as well. \u201cSympathy toward the Palestinians is also at a new high among political independents, \u200bup six points to 32%. However, more independents still lean toward the Israelis (49%).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, \u201cBiden\u2019s support among Arab-Americans cratered to a mere 17% after he came out in favor of backing Israel,\u201d according to a poll commissioned by the Arab American Institute. Interestingly, \u201c40% of respondents said they would vote for former President Donald Trump,\u200b 13.7% said they would support Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 3.8 said they would support far-left candidate Cornel West, and 25.1% said they \u2064weren\u2019t sure whom they would back,\u201d reported the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/10\/31\/news\/bidens-support-among-arab-americans-craters-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New\u200d York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What is a waffler to do? The Waffler in Chief doesn\u2019t know how to stand on principle \u2014\u2064 and it\u2019s too late to learn how now\u200d \u2014 so he has to rely on polls that seem to suggest he\u2019s damned no matter what \u200che does.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe he should\u2062 just go eat worms.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever the case, Democrats are becoming increasingly radical and increasingly \u2063anti-Western in their support\u2064 in the Middle East.\u00a0 Maybe that\u2019s why 40 percent of Arab-Americans said they\u2019d vote for Trump. Should \u200cwe launch a new Crusade to defend our way of\u2062 life and push back against the encroachment of \u200dradical Islam? While the idea may seem tempting to some, \u200dit is not\u2063 a\u2062 viable\u200b solution.<\/p>\n<p>We cannot resort to the \u200dsame tactics as our medieval predecessors. We must find a way\u2062 to combat the influence of \u2063radical Islam without compromising the values that define us as a civilization.<\/p>\n<p>First and foremost, we must recognize the enemy for what it\u2063 is. Radical Islam is not just a fringe ideology,\u200b but a totalitarian \u200bmovement\u2063 that\u200d seeks to establish a\u2064 global caliphate and impose \u2064its brutal \u2064version of\u200b Sharia law on the rest of the world. \u200cWe cannot\u2062 afford to underestimate the\u200d threat \u2064it poses.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, \u200bwe must\u200d support our allies in \u200bthe fight against radical Islam. Israel, as the only\u200b true democracy in the Middle \u2064East, \u2063is on the\u200b front lines of this battle. We must\u200b stand with them and provide them \u2062with the\u2064 necessary support to defend themselves against Hamas and\u200c other terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, we must work to strengthen our own societies and address the root causes of radicalization.
