Despite being summoned to testify, \u200dMusk failed to appear, citing\u200b various reasons, \u2062including his objection to the \u2063location of the\u200c testimony in San Francisco. Spiro called the investigation &#8220;misguided&#8221; and claimed that the SEC\u2063 has issued numerous subpoenas \u2064and conducted multiple interviews.<\/p>\n<h3>SEC&#8217;s Request\u200c for Additional Testimony<\/h3>\n<p>The SEC stated that Musk has already provided\u2064 documents \u2064and testimony in July of last year. However, after\u2062 reviewing the documents, the SEC attorneys have \u200bmore \u200cquestions for Musk.\u2063 His \u200battorney revealed that Musk has received a total of \u200cfive\u200d subpoenas\u200d for documents and three\u200c for testimony.<\/p>\n<p>This ongoing investigation has \u200cbeen\u2063 going on for over 18 months, with the SEC devoting significant\u200d resources to the alleged\u2062 untimely filing by Musk.
