Taylor Tomlinson, a \u200ctalented stand-up comedian, is set to become the newest host in the\u2062 network&#8217;s\u2064 late-night lineup at \u200cthe age of 29. <\/p>\n<p>Tomlinson&#8217;s show, <em>After Midnight<\/em>, will follow <em>The\u2062 Late Show with \u200bStephen Colbert<\/em>,\u2064 making\u200d her the youngest host in\u2062 network late-night television in two decades. Not only that, but she is also currently the only female host of \u2064late-night network television.<\/p>\n<h3>Stephen Colbert Reveals the News<\/h3>\n<p>The news of Tomlinson&#8217;s show was revealed\u200c by none other \u200cthan Stephen \u200dColbert himself during one of his recent episodes. Tomlinson\u2062 made a guest appearance on the show, and Colbert also announced \u200cthat \u2064he will be serving as an executive producer for <em>After Midnight<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>During the interview, Colbert asked Tomlinson what excited her about her new job. Her response\u200c was \u200bboth humorous\u2064 and genuine. &#8220;I&#8217;ve never had a real job,&#8221; she confessed. &#8220;I&#8217;ve been doing stand-up since I was 16, which is not a job. I mean, I worked at a buffet and \u200da wax salon, like \u200dnot real, I didn&#8217;t have a job.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tomlinson&#8217;s Rise to \u200dSuccess<\/p>\n<p>Prior to landing her own show, Tomlinson gained recognition\u2063 through two comedy specials on Netflix,\u2064 titled <em>Quarter-Life \u2064Crisis<\/em> and <em>Look at You<\/em>.
