Ted Cruz of Texas did exactly that.<\/p>\n<p>While bemoaning President Joe Biden\u2019s endless parade of radical nominees to the federal bench, Cruz\u200b said \u2064that he longed for the days of former President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe judges \u2064that have been nominated by Joe Biden have been <strong>extraordinary<\/strong>. They \u2062have been <strong>extreme<\/strong>,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ted-cruz-exposes-woke-coca-colas-quiet-deletion-blm-support-website-pro-hamas-post\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cruz<\/a> said\u200d in a 33-second clip posted \u200bThursday on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Extreme<\/strong>,\u201d however, did not quite capture the full truth of\u2064 the matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve been so <strong>egregious<\/strong>,\u200b they fill me\u2064 with a sense\u2063 I could not \u200chave previously \u2063imagined having, which is, I long for Barack Obama,\u201d Cruz added.<\/p>\n<p>No true conservative, of \u2062course \u2014 \u200bincluding\u2062 Cruz \u2014 actually misses the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/911-call-drowning-obama-chef-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Obama<\/a> administration. The 44th \u200dpresident, therefore,\u200d could conceal nefarious purposes. He could\u200d undermine the United States without appearing obvious in \u2063his intent to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, of \u200bcourse, has\u2062 none of\u200c those abilities. Thus, his entire administration looks much clumsier than the one\u200c he once served under as vice president.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday on X, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bongino-cocaine-left-wh-wasnt-accident-delivery-according-insider\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dan Bongino<\/a> summarized the impression Biden leaves on all sensible people who watch\u2062 the administration in action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you were \u200ctrying to\u2063 destroy \u200bthe United States, would you do anything differently than\u2063 Biden is doing now?\u201d Bongino posted.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">If you were trying to destroy the United States, would you do \u200canything differently than Biden is doing \u2062now?<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dan Bongino (@dbongino) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dbongino\/status\/1719664314938744932?\">November \u200d1, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden \u200bsomehow blends\u200d the sinister with the ludicrous in a\u200d way that few Americans \u2063would have believed possible during the Obama administration.<\/p>\n<p>On one hand, Bongino had it right. No president, for instance, would keep Secretary of\u2063 Homeland Security <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-mayorkas-dismantled-republicans-house-hearing-makes-actions-criminal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alejandro Mayorkas<\/a> \u2062 in office unless \u2063to sow chaos on purpose. Only a president who\u200b wanted to destroy the country would keep its borders open\u2064 to illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, no administration in U.S. history has shown such <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-new-hampshire-speech-turns-stand-comedy-skit-bidens-expense\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comic<\/a> ineptitude, starting with the president himself. From\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/desperate-wh-breaks-kamala-harris-lay-strategy-polls-drop-double-digits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cringe<\/a>-inducing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/doocy-corners-kjp-telling-deflection-straightforward-extremism-question\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">subordinates<\/a> \u2063to\u2064 his own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kjp-cuts-off-biden-ends-presser-potus-insults-vietnamese-creates-new-song-says-time-bed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unintelligible<\/a> statements, Biden hardly gives the impression\u2064 of a man in control.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2064 short, the president looks and acts lost. The consistent radicalism of\u200b his judicial nominees, \u200chowever, suggests\u200d clear \u2063purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Hence Cruz\u2019s disbelief at his own\u2064 reaction to those nominees.
