They had bicycle racks. \u2026\u200c A bicycle\u200d rack \u200bcouldn\u2019t keep your cat \u2062in your\u2062 yard.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>14th Amendment Lawsuit<\/h2>\n<p>The \u2063trial underway in Colorado stems from one of \u200bthe many lawsuits brought against President Trump, arguing that he should be\u200b barred from \u2063holding office under the 14th \u200dAmendment of the U.S. Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>It was brought by the left-leaning \u200bCitizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington representing six voters in \u200dColorado, who are arguing\u200c that\u2062 the former president\u2064 took part in an &#8220;insurrection,&#8221; thus disqualifying him from holding elected office, \u200caccording to Section 3 of the \u206414th Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>The 14th Amendment was ratified after the Civil War, and it conferred citizenship and equal rights to all people born or\u2064 naturalized in\u200b the United States, with the intention of protecting\u200b the rights of all former slaves.<\/p>\n<p>The amendment includes a section that barred those who had engaged in \u201cinsurrections\u200b or rebellions\u201d against the nation from holding office, unless they had two-thirds approval from Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Some states \u200bhave already dismissed 14th Amendment cases arguing that President Trump should be kept off the ballot, and additional \u200ccases may \u200dbe brought forth at a later time.
