The temperatures could break a number of daily records on Tuesday night and Wednesday, it noted.<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Many areas will end their growing \u200cseason over the next \u2062few days from the southern \u200dPlains to the Mid-Atlantic, including \u2064parts of the Deep South. Exposed water pipes will also \u2063be at risk of freezing or bursting if proper precautions are not \u200btaken,&#8221; it said. \u2063&#8221;Freeze warnings and watches as well as frost advisories are in effect.
