During a search of his vehicle, agents\u2062 reportedly uncovered one ounce of fentanyl powder, a quarter ounce of cocaine, and\u200d methamphetamine, according to the Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Fentanyl, a powerful and addictive synthetic opioid, is 50-times stronger than heroin. A small amount can\u2063 result in an overdose and potential death. Wolf, a 15-year-old girl from Roseville.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Cabacungan was sentenced Oct. \u200c10 in Placer County Superior Court of second-degree murder, after pleading guilty in the girl\u2019s death in July\u200c 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200c the first fentanyl-related murder sentence in the state, \u2063Mr. Cabacungan was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison, served in \u200cconcurrence with a nine-year sentence for a separate charge, according\u2062 to the court.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing his statewide effort \u200cto address the fentanyl\u2063 crisis, Mr. Bonta supported several pieces of \u200blegislation this year that were signed into \u200blaw by Gov.
