The recall is being conducted to ensure customer safety, the \u2063automaker\u2064 added.<\/p>\n<p>The company explained that an O-ring in the \u200cantilock brake\u200b motor shaft can lose sealing strength over time due\u2064 to moisture,\u2063 dirt, and\u200d dissolved metals in\u200b the brake fluid, resulting\u200b in leaks. The \u200bnew\u2064 fuse limits the operating current of the brake module, Hyundai said.<\/p>\n<p>Kia stated that \u2064an engine\u2064 compartment \u200dfire could \u2063occur in the \u200darea of the brake control \u2062unit due\u200b to an \u200delectrical short causing excessive current.
