He \u2064will be formally arraigned in an Atlanta \u200ccourt\u200c on Nov. 13, the department <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndga\/pr\/alabama-man-indicted-threatening-fulton-county-district-attorney-and-sheriff-regarding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Prosecutors and FBI investigators allege that Mr. Hanson called the \u2064Fulton County Government customer services line twice on Aug. 6, shortly \u2062before the Georgia indictment against President Trump was returned, and left \u2064two voicemails.<\/p>\n<p>In one \u200dmessage \u200cto Sheriff Labat, it&#8217;s alleged Mr. Hanson said that if the sheriff took a mugshot \u2062of\u200c the \u200cpresident, he might get <strong>&#8220;hurt real bad&#8221;<\/strong> \u2062 and his badge <strong>&#8220;ain&#8217;t gonna help you none.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode post-related-videos\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-figure\">\n<figure style=\"width:600px\" class=\"alignnone\"><figcaption>  Sheriff Patrick Labat,\u200c on a motorcycle, patrols an entrance of the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Ga., on Aug. 23, \u20632023. I would\u200b be very afraid \u2063if I\u200d were you because you can&#8217;t \u200bbe around people all the time that is [sic] going to protect you.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hanson has denied the\u200b charges against him and\u200d told The Associated Press, <strong>&#8220;It&#8217;s all a bunch of (expletive). That&#8217;s all it\u2062 is; nobody was ever gonna\u2064 hurt anybody,\u2063 ever, to my knowledge.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hanson\u2064 says he is not <strong>&#8220;that person that you think at all,&#8221;<\/strong> and he wouldn&#8217;t be talking further about the pending case.<\/p>\n<p>The Justice \u2063Department said in a statement \u200b <strong>&#8220;that the indictment only contains charges,&#8221;<\/strong> and that Mr. \u2063Hanson, like \u200dall under the U.S. justice system, is presumed innocent \u2062until proven guilty. It will be\u2062 up to\u2063 prosecutors Assistant U.S. Attorneys Bret R. Hobson and Brent Alan Gray to <strong>&#8220;prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>No \u200dattorney for Mr.\u2063 Hanson is listed on the court docket.<\/p>\n<h2>Not First Time\u2062 Officials Threatened in Trump Cases<\/h2>\n<p>Mr. Hanson is not the first to face charges of \u2062threatening officials connected to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/trump-attorneys-move-to-toss-federal-election-case-for-vindictive-prosecution-5515864\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four ongoing court cases against President Trump<\/a>. In August, a Texas woman was charged and ordered held after \u200bshe allegedly threatened U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan and U.S. Rep.
