I think he\u2019s shown himself to be very emotional. Like most cowardly\u200d people, when \u2064you confront them, they\u2019re afraid. I\u2019m unafraid\u200d of \u2064the guy and if\u200d he \u200dwants to call us despicable, I\u2019m saying he\u2019s a coward and he\u2019s a punk.&#8221; Carson added, &#8220;He should remember \u200bwhy the\u200b people sent him here. And \u2062if he wants to\u2062 play some kind of tough guy or \u200bgangster,\u200c we can handle\u2062 it like gentlemen, or we can get into something else.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gottheimer targeted the nine Democratic holdouts, including members of the leftist &#8220;Squad,&#8221; \u2063as well\u2064 as six \u200bothers who\u200c voted &#8220;present,&#8221; in a post\u200d on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Last night, 15 of my Democratic \u200dcolleagues voted AGAINST standing with our ally Israel and condemning Hamas terrorists who brutally murdered, raped, and kidnapped babies, children, men, women, and the elderly, \u200cincluding Americans,&#8221; Gottheimer said. &#8220;They are despicable and do not speak for our party.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>During the CNN\u200c program &#8220;Inside Politics,&#8221; Raju shared\u200c a statement from Gottheimer in response to Carson&#8217;s remarks.
