She says\u2063 that decision still haunts her\u2063 to this day. \u201cTwenty years later, [I] remember the pain of it, and the fear\u2026if it had\u200d been left up to me alone, I never would \u200bhave done it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Now ask \u2063yourself, does that\u2062 sound like an empowering picture of women\u2019s choice to you?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Abortion coercion happens and \u200bit happens \u2063at alarming rates,\u2062 yet hardly anyone talks about it.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A \u2063recent\u2064 study from earlier\u200d this year shows that this\u2062 is a hidden epidemic in our country, with nearly 70% of abortions cited as coerced, unwanted, or inconsistent with\u2063 women\u2019s preferences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Megyn\u2063 Kelly said it best on her podcast when she shared Spears\u2019 news, commenting on her bravery and posing a\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whats-the-limiting-principle-judge-reportedly-warns-alleged-capitol-rioters-could-be-facing-unconstitutional-charges\/\" title=\"\u2018What\u2019s The Limiting Principle?\u2019: Judge Reportedly Warns Alleged Capitol Rioters Could Be Facing Unconstitutional Charges\">million-dollar question<\/a>: Why don\u2019t we talk about \u200cthis problem?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I believe the biggest reason we don\u2019t talk about abortion coercion, unfortunately, is because it\u2019s an \u200cinconvenient truth\u200b for\u2064 the business of abortion.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Consider \u200bthat, after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/britney-spears-confession-casts-light-on-national-abortion-coercion-problem\/\" title=\"Britney Spears' revelation exposes national abortion coercion issue.\">heart-breaking news<\/a> about her abortion, not\u2063 one stitch of communication came from \u2063Planned Parenthood, Emily\u2019s List, or Reproductive Freedom for All\u200c (formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These organizations should be leading the charge to break the silence, stop the \u200cchokehold, and blot out\u2063 this injustice.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 2021, Spears\u2019 conservatorship court case alleged that her team forced her \u2063to have an IUD inside\u2064 her so she couldn\u2019t get pregnant.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Planned Parenthood responded swiftly, \u201cWe stand in solidarity with Britney and all women who face \u2064reproductive coercion.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Well, where is \u2063that same vigor today\u2062 when the reproductive coercion that she alleges tips the scales in favor of abortion? \u2064Where is your solidarity?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The truth is abortion is the currency of \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/five-unorthodox-pro-life-bills-advancing-in-state-legislatures\/\" title=\"Five Unorthodox Pro-Life Bills Advancing In State Legislatures\">pro-abortion activists<\/a> and the political currency of most Democrats.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Look no\u2062 further than last year\u2019s Planned Parenthood Annual\u2062 Report. They raked in $1.9 billion in income \u2013 almost $1.9 million a day coming from taxpayers \u2013 while carrying out more than 374,000 abortions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">97% of the time, when a woman comes to\u2062 them pregnant, she \u2064is \u2062sold an abortion.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They all know that abortion coercion is real, it happens, and it is detrimental to women. But none of them are willing to condemn \u2064it or even publicly acknowledge its existence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I would encourage any of them to visit a \u2062pregnancy\u200d resource center and talk to women with\u200c unplanned pregnancies. I talk to them every week. I was one of those women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When I \u2063confronted my child\u2019s father with our\u200d unplanned pregnancy, he engaged in \u2063a full night of drinking. After he\u200b was drunk, he demanded I abort our child and\u200c threatened me. I don\u2019t know how I mustered the courage, but I told him I would \u2064not be aborting \u200dour baby. After that, to\u2062 my surprise, he never threatened me with abortion again. But not everyone\u2019s story turns out like mine. And frankly, no one should ever be threatened, pressured, or \u200cforced to\u2062 abort \u2013 by a partner, parent, physician\u2063 or anyone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Britney Spears\u2019 \u2063confession\u2062 has sparked a national conversation and I am thankful for it.\u2064 As a country, we need to break the silence and allow women \u2064the freedom to \u2062publicly share our abortion \u2062coercion \u200cstories without fear or shame.
