Version: 4.0.47--><h2>Illegal Aliens Released from Jail\u2064 After Being Charged with Burglary, Theft<\/h2>\n<p>A pair of illegal aliens from Venezuela\u200b were arrested in a Chicago suburb and accused of burglary and\u200b theft\u200d after \u2062they were brought into \u2062the area thanks to the \u200bWindy City\u2019s sanctuary policies.<\/p>\n<p>Both ended up being released from jail after\u2063 their \u200barrests.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Oak\u2062 Brook, \u2062Illinois, police, Venezuela\u200b natives Abel \u2062Barrios-Estava and Rafael Mata-Torres were arrested \u200bon Oct. 23 after police were called \u2063about a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wild-footage-police-nab-illegal-immigrants-hauling-drugs-cartel-high-speed-chase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crime<\/a> \u200b in progress.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were called to\u200c the Oak Brook Macy\u2019s store at about 5:27 p.m., according to Chicago\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/news\/migrants-accused-in-oak-brook-macys-theft-released-on-electronic-monitoring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WFLD-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Police \u2064said that Barrios-Estava was seen entering the store, taking six items of clothing reportedly worth more than $300, and leaving without paying for \u2063the items, just another\u200d example of the\u200c sort of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chicago-crime-spiked-40-percent-lori-lightfoot-thinks-deserves-raise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crime soaring<\/a> in \u200bChicago and its \u2062suburbs.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/illegal-aliens-freed-from-jail-after-being-charged-with-burglary-theft\/\" title=\"Illegal aliens released from jail after burglary and theft charges.\">store\u2062 loss prevention officer \u200creportedly attempted<\/a> to detain the\u200d man, but he\u2063 broke away\u200c from the officer and \u200cfled across 22nd Street.<\/p>\n<p>Officers reportedly caught up with Barrios-Estava and again took him into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Barrios-Estava was not \u200bthe\u2063 only \u2063migrant accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/target-announces-closure-9-stores-democrat-strongholds-due-theft-organized-retail-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">retail theft<\/a> that the Oak Brook police\u200b dealt with that day.<\/p>\n<p>A second\u200b suspect, later identified as\u200c Mateo-Torres, also \u2062entered Macey\u2019s, \u200dbut in his case, he allegedly took 13 \u200ditems of clothing from the store and tried to abscond without paying.<\/p>\n<p>Loss prevention officers\u200d took Mateo-Torres into custody without incident.<\/p>\n<p>Both men will next\u2063 appear in court on\u2063 Nov. 20.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2063 the meantime, they have been fitted \u2062with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-video-border-patrol-releases-single-adult-migrants-into-texas\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Border Patrol Releases Single Adult Migrants into Texas\">electronic monitoring devices<\/a> and banned from \u2063the store, but otherwise released from jail.<\/p>\n<p>In an Oct. 24 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dupagecounty.gov\/news_detail_T2_R957.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a> on the arrests, DuPage County State\u2019s Attorney Robert \u200dBerlin said that\u200c retail \u200dtheft is costing American \u200bbusinesses billions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u2064National Retail Federation estimates that retail theft \u2063cost businesses nationwide more than $112 billion last year, up from $96 billion in 2021,\u201d Berlin\u200d said. \u201cThese losses cause <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-announces-9-billion-more-in-student-debt-cancellation\/\" title=\"Biden unveils B extra for student debt relief.\">significant financial hardship<\/a> to businesses and their employees, higher prices for shoppers and\u2064 loss of tax\u200b revenue for\u200b the entire community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oak Brook Deputy Chief \u200cof Police Mark King added, \u201cThe\u2063 Oak\u2064 Brook Police Department continues to proactively combat all forms of organized retail theft, and aggressively pursue offenders. Through our continued collaboration with retail loss prevention agents and the DuPage State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s office, we can effectively investigate, arrest, and prosecute these criminals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of\u2063 course, Chicago has been \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/video-shows-illegal-immigrants-running-freely-across-border-border-patrol-pulled-field\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flooded<\/a> with tens of \u2064thousands \u2064of illegals, many lately coming from \u2062Venezuela, as Joe Biden\u2019s failed border\u2064 policies continue to leave America\u2062 in a crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Crime has gotten so bad in Chicago that one alderman is desperately proposing that deportation be imposed as a deterrent for crime, according to\u2063 Chicago\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/migrant-crisis-crime-worries-alderman-deportation-deterrent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WBBM-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we need to send the message\u200b loud and clear that there are certain things that are \u200cunacceptable in our society,\u201d Alderman Ray Lopez said in\u200c August.<\/p>\n<p>And Chicago residents\u2063 have reached their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/open-borders-chaos-thousands-illegals-set-loose-biden-overwhelm-phoenix-airport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">breaking point<\/a>, as \u2064a majority of\u200c 46 percent\u2064 now say that the city should\u2063 end its sanctuary city policies, \u200ccompared \u200cto only 39 percent that say\u200b they should remain \u200bin place, <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/sanctuary-cities-in-illinois-chicago-migrants-city-m3-strategies\/13872569\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC\u2019s WLS-TV<\/a> reported.
