The incident occurred on Oct. 2 when a human driver hit the pedestrian and fled the scene, according to the San \u2064Francisco Chronicle.<\/p>\n<p>The impact propelled the pedestrian into the path of an oncoming Cruise\u2062 robotaxi, which braked\u2064 but still ran over the\u2064 woman, dragging\u2062 her 20 feet before coming to a stop.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was trapped under the driverless car, and rescue \u200ccrews had to use a \u201cjaws of life\u201d\u200c tool to free her.
