She looked like she was about to blow a gasket\u200d Wednesday while ranting about Louisianan GOP Rep. Mike Johnson being elected as the speaker of the House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s\u200c Jim Jordan with a\u2063 jacket and a smile,\u201d Vitali told Nicolle Wallace, host of MSNBC\u2019s\u2062 \u201cDeadline: White House.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It \u2063sounds like a compliment, right?\u200d It \u200dwasn\u2019t meant to be.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For Democrat lawmakers \u2014 that\u2019s who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rachel-maddow-accuses-trump-wanting-execute-msnbc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MSNBC<\/a> hosts \u2064and their ilk take \u2064orders from \u2014 Johnson is among the worst of the congressional Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>Why? Because in 2020, \u2064he \u201csent \u2063an email from a\u2063 personal\u200b email account to every\u200c House Republican soliciting signatures\u200c for an amicus brief in the longshot Texas lawsuit seeking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hes-jim-jordan-with-a-jacket-and-a-smile-msnbc-reporter-melts-down-over-new-speaker\/\" title=\"MSNBC reporter loses it over new Speaker: 'Jim Jordan with a smile and a jacket'\">invalidate electoral college votes<\/a> \u200bfrom \u2064Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/12\/09\/politics\/mike-johnson-letter-house-republicans\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> reported at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2064Supreme Court, saying\u200b Texas lacked the standing\u2063 to file the lawsuit, declined\u200d to\u2064 hear the case.<\/p>\n<p>You can see where this is all headed.\u2064 It\u2019s \u200dnothing new. As far\u2064 as the left is concerned, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/blue-book-mike-johnson-held-onto-becoming-speaker-says-lot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Johnson<\/a> is an election denier and therefore must be crucified by the media.<\/p>\n<p>Wallace started\u2063 the segment\u2063 Wednesday by declaring the new\u2064 speaker is \u2062\u201cway\u200b outside the \u200bmainstream\u201d on\u2064 numerous issues,\u200b including\u2062 \u201cdemocracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s something\u2062 that when you actually start parsing through the policy comes through very clearly, that this\u2064 is someone who \u200cmaybe without the publicity and\u200b fanfare is certainly working in lockstep on\u2064 the same ideological and ethos\u200b ideas that people like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rep-fitzpatrick-explains-real-reason-holdout-jim-jordan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jim Jordan<\/a> and Steve Scalise have been talking about over the course of the last several years,\u201d Vitali fumed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe just hasn\u2019t \u200dbeen doing\u2062 it as often\u200d on Fox\u200d News,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Get \u2062it? Johnson might be worse than even Donald Trump as far as the left is concerned. \u2062He\u2019s\u200b soft-spoken, well-dressed, \u2063an expert\u2062 on the Constitution \u2063and a decidedly<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-god-good-big-daytona-500-crash-leads-stunning-upset-win-devout-christian-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> \u2064 devout Christian<\/a>. No mean tweets from \u200cMike \u200dJohnson. He\u2019s SuperTrump in a Clark Kent disguise.<\/p>\n<p>Vitali was working up to the crescendo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe conversation that you and \u2063I were having was that it\u2019s\u2064 part and parcel to the Republican conference\u2063 platform in \u2062the\u200b House\u200d right now to have anti-small-D democratic values, and so\u2064 it\u200c shouldn\u2019t\u2063 be striking\u2064 that the \u2064person they put up \u200bfor this job maybe wasn\u2019t cited all over the Jan. 6 report,\u200c though there is at least one mention of him\u2064 in \u2064there, but instead, he\u2019s\u2063 someone who simply provided\u2062 some of the attempted rationale for how to overturn an election,\u201d she huffed.<\/p>\n<p>And there you have it.\u200d Johnson\u200c is part \u2064of the \u2064Jan. \u20646, 2021, wild bunch who tried\u2063 to overthrow the \u2063government by filing an \u200damicus\u2063 brief. The horror.<\/p>\n<p>The Louisiana congressman won the speaker roll \u200cby a 220-209 vote in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/solomon-rare-one-member-move-good-idea-house-representatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House of Representatives<\/a>. That means the Republicans\u200b are now unified. No more bickering. Get on the floor, take \u2063the vote, get\u200d off the\u200d floor,\u200d new speaker.\u2062 By the \u200cnumbers. If \u200cI remember correctly, \u200dSpeaker Johnson is the \u2063expert in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/state-lawmakers-move-massive-constitutional-change-end-gay-marriage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">constitutional law<\/a>, not you.<\/p>\n<p>What makes her and\u200d the entire left really afraid is that Johnson \u2063is a smart guy\u2064 with rock-solid \u200dChristian values. He\u2019s \u2063an authentic conservative, \u200dand he\u2019s now third in line for the presidency.<\/p>\n<p>Even worse \u2014 and Vitiali \u2064almost said\u200d it out loud \u2014 the Republicans, as a party, are unified\u2062 behind Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>Will it last? \u200cWho knows? Let\u2019s \u2062pray\u200d that it does.<\/p>\n<p>Those on the left will beat their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/explosive-report-judge-trump-jan-6-case-previously-said-open-court-guilty-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jan. 6<\/a> narrative hype to death\u200c just like they\u200c did the Russian collusion hoax. They don\u2019t \u200dknow \u200cwhat else to do except wait for the next crisis \u2014 manufactured or not \u2014 to\u200b exploit.<\/p>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s \u201cRussia,\u2062 Russia, \u2064Russia!\u201d or \u201cMike Johnson \u200cis\u2062 an insurrectionist!\u201d \u200cyou can \u2063bet mainstream \u200bmedia all will be telling the same story and working themselves \u2064into a cowhearted frenzy \u2064while doing \u200bit.<\/p>\n<p>Any day now, I \u2064expect, the left, as a collective, will suffer a\u200b simultaneous nervous breakdown.<\/p>\n<p>Until then, they\u2019re as dangerous as\u2063 a \u2063colony \u2062of ravenous termites in the frame of a wooden house. That\u2019s pretty dangerous. Is this\u200d really enough to brand\u200b someone as an \u2063election denier\u2064 and an enemy of democracy?<\/p>\n<p>The \u200bleft&#8217;s reaction to Johnson&#8217;s \u200belection as speaker is a clear example of their intolerance and inability\u2063 to accept \u200bdiffering opinions. They have become so blinded by their own ideology that they cannot \u2064even fathom the idea of someone with different beliefs holding a \u200cposition of power.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s understandable that MSNBC, a network known \u2063for its liberal\u2063 bias, would be\u2064 upset about Johnson&#8217;s \u200belection. But the level of vitriol and personal attacks displayed by Vitali and Wallace is unprofessional and unwarranted. Instead of engaging in \u200can honest \u200ddiscussion about Johnson&#8217;s qualifications and policies, \u2064they resorted to name-calling and character assassination.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time the left has reacted in such a\u2064 manner. Anyone who does not align with their progressive agenda is immediately demonized and labeled as a threat to democracy. It&#8217;s a dangerous trend that undermines the principles of free speech and open debate.<\/p>\n<p>As Americans, we\u200d should embrace diversity of thought and respect \u200ddifferent opinions. We should be able to have civil \u200bdiscussions and debates without resorting to personal attacks and insults. It&#8217;s time for the\u2064 left to step back and reflect on their own intolerance and consider whether their progressive agenda is truly inclusive \u200dand accepting of differing\u2062 viewpoints.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of Johnson, it&#8217;s clear that the left is \u200bthreatened by his conservative\u200c ideals and his commitment\u2062 to the Constitution. They can&#8217;t stand the\u2064 fact that \u200bsomeone who disagrees with their agenda is now in a position of power. Our democracy depends on it.
