President Biden has set a ⁢goal of returning to ⁤the Iran nuclear deal, which is one of ⁣the primary drivers of ⁣Hezbollah and Hamas’ ⁤malign behavior⁤ in the region.”

Looking Ahead

The deepening divide among Democrats over the⁤ Israel conflict poses ‌challenges not ⁢only for the Biden administration but for the party as a whole.⁤ The ⁣staunch support for Israel from certain Democrats may alienate the progressive base, while those who criticize or oppose Israel risk alienating more moderate and pro-Israel voters. Navigating this‍ delicate balance will require ‍strategic⁣ decision-making and an understanding of the ⁢broader implications⁤ for ⁢foreign policy⁢ and domestic politics.

It remains to be seen how Biden will navigate this divide within his party. Siding too strongly with Israel may strain relations with more progressive members, while distancing himself from Israel may alienate traditional supporters⁤ of the Jewish state.
