Notably, neither\u200c agency mentioned the potential\u200c risk of \u200dseizures and convulsions.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Johnson directly \u2064questioned \u2063the FDA and CDC heads \u2063on Oct. 25, asking when they first became aware of the findings\u200c from the FDA-funded study published on Oct. 15, 2023. He demanded the names and \u200dtitles of the individuals initially informed about the \u2062study&#8217;s\u200d findings.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200b FDA \u2063researchers \u200cemphasized the\u200b need for further investigation of \u2062the seizure signal \u2062&#8221;in\u2063 a\u200c robust epidemiological study.&#8221; Sen. \u2064Johnson\u2064 inquired about the FDA&#8217;s progress in conducting\u200c such\u2064 a \u200dstudy and any\u2063 actions taken by the FDA and CDC in response to the signal.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-figure\">\n<figure style=\"width:600px\" class=\"alignnone\"><figcaption>Sen. Pfizer and\u200c Moderna have also remained unresponsive.<\/p>\n<p>Transparency advocates argue \u2062that\u200b the lack of openness undermines\u2062 public trust \u2062in these health agencies. Barbara \u200cLoe Fisher, founder \u2063and co-president of the National Vaccine Information Center, expressed \u2062her concerns, stating, &#8220;Trust is lost in public\u200c health policy recommendations when health \u200cofficials \u200beither refuse or are slow to make information available that can help people weigh the\u2063 risks for themselves when \u2062considering their own current health \u2063and medical history.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Other Concerns<\/h2>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Sen.
