Universities and faculty across the country have pledged their allegiance<\/a> to Palestine and Hamas, with student groups<\/a>, professors, and\u200d administrators releasing statements in support<\/a> of Hamas and coordinating \u200canti-Israel protests<\/a>. The University of California, Davis is the latest. <\/p>\n

Support\u200c for Palestine and Hamas at\u2062 UC \u200dDavis<\/h2>\n
On Oct. 18, various faculty hosted \u200ban \u201cemergency teach in\u201d at the university,\u200c purportedly in support of \u201cjustice in Palestine.\u201d In other words, the purpose was to prompt students\u200d to filter the Hamas attack through a pro-Palestine lens. \u200dThe tone and results of the teach-in were predictable: Educators and students are blaming Israel. \u200d <\/p>\n

During the teach-in \u2014 which was sponsored by\u200b various departments at UC Davis, including the UC Davis Students for Justice in Palestine club and the student-led organization<\/a> known as Cops off Campus \u2014 speakers endlessly\u200d labeled Israel as racist, genocidal, oppressive,\u2062 and even antisemitic. Mass pro-Palestine, anti-Israel protests broke out on campus the next day.\u200c <\/p>\n
