After an extensive four-year review, a Department of Justice watchdog has officially determined that Trump \u2063did not improperly influence the FBI&#8217;s decision to keep its headquarters in Washington, D.C. This finding is detailed in a DOJ report.<\/p>\n<p>The controversy surrounding the FBI&#8217;s potential move from the J. Edgar Hoover Building in downtown D.C.\u200c has been ongoing for two decades. In 2014,\u2063 the bureau seriously considered relocating\u200d to new offices. The initial \u2063plan was to sell the building to a\u2063 developer and construct a new facility elsewhere. However, this\u200c plan fell through when it was discovered that the\u200d sale would not cover the cost of the new building.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the FBI devised a new proposal to demolish\u2064 the Hoover\u2063 building and construct their new facility on the same site. It was at \u200bthis point \u200dthat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/alex-jones-cant-hide-behind-bankruptcy-judge-rules-must-pay-1-billion-to-sandy-hook-families\/\" title=\"Judge rules Alex Jones must pay  billion to Sandy Hook families, bankruptcy won't protect him.\">conspiracy theories began<\/a> to emerge from the Democrat Party.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats accused Trump of interfering in the\u2062 FBI&#8217;s plans \u200bto benefit himself financially. However, the Department \u200dof Justice&#8217;s Office of the Inspector General found no evidence to support these\u2063 claims. The report explicitly states that Trump and other \u2063FBI officials did not consider the location of the Trump International Hotel or the potential impact on Trump&#8217;s financial interests\u2064 when making the decision.<\/p>\n<p>FBI Director Christopher Wray also confirmed that there was no pressure from the White House regarding the matter.
