UFC294\u200d was \u200bmy last \u2062PPV buy. What a\u2062 shame\u2063 it will bring fans away from the sport. Plus, Modelo is actually a\u2062 good \u2064beer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yes, it \u2064appears that the once-beloved Bud Light has become such a toxic\u2063 brand that it\u2019s\u2063 an \u2063active detriment to whomever it partners with.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s \u2062the key word \u200c\u2014 \u201cpartners\u201d \u2014 that\u200d needs a \u2064little\u2062 more investigation, because it takes two to tango in any business partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Because it\u2019s not\u2063 exactly a well-kept \u2064secret that\u200b Bud Light is \u2062reaching a nuclear\u2063 level \u2062of \u200btoxicity,\u2062 which begs the \u200bquestion of why UFC willingly got in bed with a brand that\u2019s so \u2064polarizing and \u2064divisive.<\/p>\n<p>Well, \u2064it doesn\u2019t \u2064really beg the question. We all know the answer is that UFC\u200b accepted this partnership for either clout or money \u2014\u200b and the pro fighting league certainly doesn\u2019t need\u200c help with clout.<\/p>\n<p>And we know\u2062 UFC\u2064 knew how toxic Bud Light was, because there was nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-light-hits-resistance-launching-huge-effort-win-back-nfl-fans-nice-try\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">identical backlash<\/a> when Bud Light announced\u200c its \u200cgrand partnership\u2062 with the NFL in August.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps trying to get in front\u2064 of\u2064 the\u2064 talking \u2063point that UFC sold its soul at \u2064the altar of cheap beer and transgenderism, UFC\u2063 president Dana White appeared\u2063 on Sean Hannity\u2019s eponymous\u200b show on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>You can watch the relevant \u2062segment below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>White\u2019s initial defense of Bud Light\u2019s pro-transgender \u200bdebacle wasn\u2019t \u2063much of a defense at all, as he \u2064seemed to be arguing,\u200b \u201cWho \u200bcares about the LGBT stuff? Look at all the \u200bgood things they do!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>White\u2064 rattled off a number of things that Bud Light does, like hiring within\u200c and\u200b purchasing American.\u200b White also \u2062touted Bud Light\u2019s willingness and eagerness to hire veterans.<\/p>\n<p>These are \u2063all\u2062 commendable causes, to be sure \u2026 but\u200b hardly unique to Bud\u200c Light.
