In addition, many governments provided fiscal support\u200d through furloughs for people laid \u2062off \u2062work and grants \u2064to\u2064 keep businesses \u200bafloat while\u2062 they\u2063 were \u2063unable to produce or \u2063sell. The\u200d result was a rise in savings and a sudden bounce-back in demand when COVID\u200d restrictions were lifted.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the Russia\u2013Ukraine \u2064war, the ECB \u2063stated: <strong>\u201cThe war triggered a\u200c massive\u200b shock to the global\u200c economy, \u200despecially to energy and\u2063 food markets, squeezing\u200b supply and pushing up \u200dprices\u200b to unprecedented levels. \u200bCompared with other economic regions, \u200bthe euro-area has been particularly vulnerable to the \u2064economic consequences of Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 23, \u2064bond guru Bill Gross said: <strong>\u201cRegional bank carnage and \u200crecent rise in auto delinquencies to long-term historical highs indicate U.S. economy slowing significantly.\u200c Recession in fourth quarter.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the \u2062moment the United \u200bStates is finally staring\u200d down \u200ba recession, and it&#8217;s been coming for a while. However, we are \u2062also staring down the potential\u200c of another war, one that \u200cis rarely\u200d mentioned in the press. In March \u2062of this year, Senator\u200d Angus King (I-Maine), asked energy security \u200dexperts \u201cif they believe\u2062 there are cyber &#8216;sleeper cells&#8217;\u200d that have infiltrated the nation\u2019s energy grid and\u2062 may\u2064 be positioned for a\u200c future attack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former\u200c FBI Special \u2064Agent Eric Caron agreed on another front, stating: \u2064 <strong>&#8220;We have over a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-long-view-wars-inflation-recession-and-domestic-sleeper-cells\/\" title=\"Long-term perspective: Conflicts, rising prices, economic downturns, and hidden threats at home.\">thousand joint terrorism task force \u200bcases<\/a> going on \u200bhere \u2062in America \u200btoday relating \u2063to \u200bMuslim extremists.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ask \u2063yourself this: While fighting numerous wars,\u200c battling inflation, and contending with the looming threat of \u200da\u200b recession, what happens\u2062 if domestic\u200d attacks start from sleeper cells hiding out across America? \u200dWhat if the sleeper \u200bcells decide to attack \u200cour \u200benergy grid? What if these sleeper cells\u200c decide to\u2062 start a religious\u200c war in America? It&#8217;s completely possible, and no one can say our border is \u200dsafe.<\/p>\n<p>No one \u2062can\u200d say that out of the\u200d millions of illegal immigrants that have come through\u200b our \u200dsouthern border in the past \u200cfew years,\u2064 we don\u2019t\u2064 have any enemies in the mix.<\/p>\n<p>How many potential enemies are \u200chiding in America, \u2064waiting for the \u2062next\u2064 opportunity?<\/p>\n<p>And what about\u2063 China? The \u2061increased\u200b military expenses and financial support sent to conflict-stricken countries\u200d drain resources from \u2064other \u200csectors \u200cof the economy. At the same time,\u2063 inflation erodes purchasing\u2063 power and increases the cost\u2063 of\u200b living for individuals\u200b and businesses, leading to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/existing-home-sales-fall-in-september-as-high-mortgage-rates-freeze-market\/\" title=\"September saw a decline in existing home sales due to the freezing effect of high mortgage rates.\">reduced economic activity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This\u200d \u2062combination\u2062 of factors can create a vicious cycle \u200cwhere\u200d decreased\u200b economic activity further\u2063 exacerbates\u2064 the impact\u2063 of inflation, leading to a recession. The funds diverted to military expenses and humanitarian\u2064 aid could have been \u2064used for \u2063investment in \u200cinfrastructure, education,\u2063 healthcare, and other sectors that promote\u2064 long-term economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>While\u2064 it is \u200bcrucial to address conflicts and provide assistance to \u200dthose in need,\u200d it is equally important to carefully consider the economic consequences.\u2062 Steps must \u2062be\u2062 taken to mitigate inflationary pressures and ensure that the allocation of resources\u2064 does not hinder\u200b overall economic\u200b stability and growth.<\/p>\n<p>As \u2062the \u200cglobal community navigates through\u2062 these \u2062challenging\u200b times,\u2064 policymakers, central \u200bbanks, and international \u200corganizations\u200d must work together\u200c to monitor and manage the impact of war and inflation on the economy.
