With \u200bglobal organizations embracing the ESG agenda and the rise of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-sam-brownback-calls-on-woke-corporations-to-pull-advertising-dollars-out-of-beijing-winter-olympics\/\" title=\"Exclusive \u2014 Sam Brownback Calls on Woke Corporations to Pull Advertising Dollars Out of Beijing Winter Olympics\u00a0\">social credit scores<\/a>,&#8221; DEI has become a crucial factor in global scoring \u2064schemes.<\/p>\n<p>Undoubtedly,\u200d globalist pressures have accelerated the rapid adoption of \u200dDEI, infiltrating every aspect\u2063 of society. But how will this social standard impact us individually and as a \u200bsociety? Should we unquestioningly accept the dominance \u200cof DEI?<\/p>\n<p>To answer these questions, we need to delve into the meaning, roots, and goals of DEI. Only then can we make \u2062informed decisions about how\u2062 to address DEI moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start\u2062 by considering the dictionary definitions \u200bof DEI:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Diversity:<\/strong> the inclusion of people of different races, cultures, etc., in a group or organization<\/li>\n<li><strong>Equity:<\/strong> (1) freedom from\u200b bias or favoritism; (2) fairness or justice\u2062 in the way people are treated<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inclusion:<\/strong> the act or\u200d practice of including and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/darwin-and-dei\/\" title=\"Darwin and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).\">accommodating historically excluded individuals based<\/a> on \u2063race, gender, sexuality, or ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At first glance, \u200bDEI seems to promise equal opportunity and fairness for all. However, \u2064the outcomes of DEI initiatives in workplaces, boardrooms, and global organizations have been \u200bfar from stellar.<\/p>\n<p>Headlines related to DEI reveal the disturbing reality behind these initiatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;White people are not welcome \u2064in this\u200b space.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2023\/05\/21\/white-people-told-they-are-not-welcome-at-performance-of-blm-inspired-play\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breitbart<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Coca-Cola diversity training tells employees, &#8216;Be less white.'&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/coca-cola-facing-backlash-says-less-white-learning-plan-was-about-workplace-inclusion-1570875\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Being white&#8221; includes being &#8220;oppressive, \u200carrogant, defensive, ignorant.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenews-messenger.com\/story\/news\/local\/2023\/03\/25\/stossel-diversity-training-disaster\/70037005007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fremont News Messenger<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Democrat Chicago Mayor wants to eliminate homework and failing grades.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/v2h78qq-new-democrat-chicago-mayor-brandon-johnson-wants-to-eliminate-homework-fail.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rumble<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;DEI director fired because colleagues complained her\u2062 diversity project was &#8216;unacceptable&#8217; because it [didn&#8217;t take steps toward] &#8216;decentering whiteness.'&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecollegefix.com\/fired-dei-whistleblower-details-attacks-she-faced-for-defending-jews-different-religions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The\u200d College Fix<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Liberal College\u2064 Professor Placed on Leave &#8230; Suggesting it&#8217;s OK to Murder Conservative\u200b Speakers.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2023\/03\/liberal-college-professor-placed-on-leave-for-suggesting-its-ok-to-murder-conservative-speakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gateway Pundit<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;New York City Teachers Union to Host Seminar on the &#8216;Harmful Effects of Whiteness.'&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These news reports\u200b from 2023 highlight how the implementation of DEI has resulted in unequal treatment,\u2064 lack of respect,\u200d and exclusion. Every day, new examples emerge, confirming that\u200c DEI encourages unequal treatment \u200din line with its ideas.\u200b But why do we tolerate and accept these outcomes?<\/p>\n<p>Some view DEI as a \u200cmeans of seeking retribution for past unequal treatment. They believe that unequal treatment towards those who fit the profile of &#8220;oppressors\/victimizers,&#8221; particularly whites, is justified payback for the historical \u200bmistreatment and abuse endured by \u2062blacks. Ironically, the loudest advocates of DEI\u2064 initiatives have no issue with the individuals who perpetuated bigotry,\u2063 racism, and inequality in the past.<\/p>\n<p>History reveals the reasons why blacks were not treated as equals to whites. It took a\u200b century after the Civil War for Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to passionately assert \u2064that people should be\u2064 judged by their character, not \u2062their skin color.<\/p>\n<p>Severe anti-black animus persisted long after the end of slavery, and this can be\u2062 traced back to certain views of &#8220;evolution.&#8221; Charles Darwin, the pioneer of the theory of evolution, played a significant role in perpetuating unequal treatment\u2062 of blacks.<\/p>\n<p>Darwin&#8217;s theories supported the notion that different human ethnicities evolved at different rates, with whites being\u200c considered &#8220;superior&#8221; and blacks still climbing \u2063the evolutionary ladder, thus deemed &#8220;subhuman.&#8221; This distorted\u2062 perspective equated blacks with apes, gorillas, and savages.<\/p>\n<p>In my book,\u2064 &#8220;Woked Up!&#8221;, I expose \u200cDarwin&#8217;s motivations and how his theories fueled supremacy and racism. His ideas have been responsible\u200b for the disproportionate abuse and hindrance of black progress for over 150 years.<\/p>\n<p>Understanding Darwin&#8217;s influence provides \u200ccontext\u2064 for why blacks had \u200cto fight for justice and equality, culminating in\u200d Dr. King&#8217;s plea to focus on character rather than skin color.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clear \u200bthat skin color should\u200d not determine a\u2062 person&#8217;s worth or rights. Yet, many lives were lost and much effort was expended to gain acceptance and equality. Darwin&#8217;s theories gave &#8220;scientific&#8221; support to the\u200b discriminatory treatment of \u2064blacks, undermining the idea that all\u200d humans are\u2062 created \u200dequal.<\/p>\n<p>Over time, through the Civil Rights Movement\u200b and Affirmative Action programs,\u200b progress \u200dwas made in providing opportunities for blacks to advance socially and economically. \u200cEducation played a\u200b crucial \u200drole in disproving the old discriminatory mindset and claims of black inferiority.<\/p>\n<p>However, some argue that despite progress, it is \u200bstill not enough. They claim that the underrepresentation of certain groups in proportion to their\u200b population confirms ongoing\u2064 racism and\u200d inequality. They demand immediate promotion and placement into corporate hierarchies based on race and gender,\u200c regardless of skills or merit. This demand falls under the\u200c term &#8220;seeking equity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Advocates for DEI initiatives argue \u200cthat unequal outcomes in workplaces are evidence of\u2064 purposeful racism, and therefore, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs \u2062are necessary to\u2062 achieve equal outcomes.\u200b However, this view undermines the principles of free markets and capitalism, which prioritize\u200d competence \u2063and merit in hiring and promotion.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of perpetuating racist mindsets, we should recognize that all individuals are created equal and deserve equal dignity and worth. The framework that underpins DEI often relies \u200con critical theory, which seeks to dismantle established systems and power structures. Although the theory has its merits in challenging \u2063existing inequalities, it also has the \u200dpotential to create new divisions and perpetuate a victimhood mentality.<\/p>\n<p>It is crucial to foster an environment where diversity of thought and opinions can truly flourish. This means embracing a wide range of perspectives, even those that may challenge the status quo. \u2062However, DEI initiatives \u200boften\u200c prioritize certain narratives over others, contributing to an environment where dissenting viewpoints are silenced.<\/p>\n<p>So, what is the alternative? How can we address the legitimate concerns regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion while avoiding the pitfalls of DEI?<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps it starts with reevaluating the foundations \u200cof DEI and moving toward a more\u200d holistic approach \u200cthat recognizes and celebrates\u200c human individuality without perpetuating \u200bdivision. Instead of fixating on immutable characteristics such as race or gender, we could prioritize individual merits, accomplishments, and character.<\/p>\n<p>This alternative approach should aim to create an inclusive society\u200d that values diverse perspectives and encourages open\u200b dialogue. It should foster an environment where everyone feels respected and \u200dwelcomed while promoting equal opportunity \u200cbased on merit.<\/p>\n<p>Although \u200bthe path forward \u200dmay be challenging, it is essential to \u200ccritically\u200c analyze and discuss the implications of\u2062 DEI.
