\u200dfrom the vehicle, but deputies quickly apprehended him.<\/p>\n<p>According to the District\u2062 Attorney&#8217;s office, in addition to Ramirez\u2014who was driving\u2014the vehicle held two undocumented \u200dillegal aliens, Elbia Yulisa Machado,\u2064 a \u2062Honduran national, and Marieli\u200c Araceli Gutierrez \u200cRuiz, a Mexican national.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies found both\u2063 men &#8220;lying \u200ddown in the \u2063cargo area&#8221; of the Cadillac SUV, but they managed to\u200b escape on foot into the\u200d brush, according\u2063 to a press release by the District Attorney&#8217;s Office for Val Verde, Kinney, and Terrell counties.<\/p>\n<p>County border prosecuting\u2062 attorney Amanda Poole told the jury that the state presented &#8220;everything they\u200c could need to find the defendant guilty, including a video of\u200b the evading where they were practically &#8216;in the lap&#8217;
