However, voters from all political backgrounds express concerns and believe there is still much\u2062 to be desired.<\/p>\n<p>Among the\u2063 top concerns for voters regarding a second term for President Biden are his health, his\u200d ability to work with a divided Congress, and\u2064 his handling of foreign \u200cpolicy crises.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Kinnison, \u2062an independent from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, \u2064expressed his worries,\u2064 stating, \u200d&#8221;He&#8217;s getting us\u2062 into\u200d a lot of wars, there was\u2063 that mess when he pulled out of Afghanistan, and\u2063 now we&#8217;re sending billions\u200b to Ukraine while I can&#8217;t even \u200ckeep up with my electricity\u200c bill. I think he should be\u2062 impeached.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">According to recent polling by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/other\/president-biden-job-approval-7320.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Real Clear Politics<\/a>, nearly 55 percent of voters disapprove of President Biden&#8217;s handling of\u2064 various\u200c issues, including \u2064immigration,\u2063 the economy, foreign policy, and the\u2063 direction of the country.<\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">The Epoch Times\u2064 interviewed voters\u2064 from different parties to gather\u2062 their \u2062views on President Biden&#8217;s work in these areas. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Foreign Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>  During his time in office, President\u2063 Biden has made\u2062 significant changes to the \u2062United States&#8217; foreign policy.\u2064 The\u2064 withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 \u200cresulted \u200bin a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-issa-called-on-biden-to-meet-with-gold-star-families-from-kabul-bombing-so-far-no-comment\/\" title=\"Rep. However, it marked\u2062 the end \u2063of a 20-year war.<\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">The Biden administration has also taken a strong stance against Russia&#8217;s invasion of Ukraine, \u2062providing over $75 billion in assistance to the invaded country, \u200bincluding humanitarian,\u2063 financial, and military support,\u200b according to\u200c the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifw-kiel.de\/topics\/war-against-ukraine\/ukraine-support-tracker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kiel Institute for the World Economy<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">President \u2062Biden has also prioritized renewing \u2063alliances \u2063and addressing global\u2062 challenges such as climate \u2062change and containing China. Currently, the White House \u2064is involved in the Middle \u200cEast conflict between Israel and Hamas, \u2062with plans to potentially deploy 2,000 U.S. troops overseas.<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s sort of like Chinese\u2063 water\u200d torture, drip, drip, drip; there&#8217;s always a new \u2063crisis Biden\u200c is\u200b putting us\u200d into overseas,&#8221; Mr.\u200b Kinnison remarked. &#8220;It seemed \u2062under\u200b Trump\u2063 things were a lot\u200b calmer and we weren&#8217;t putting our nose in other people&#8217;s business.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Even some Democrats have criticized President Biden&#8217;s interventionist actions.<\/p>\n<p>Joanne Bailey, a Democrat from \u200cSpringfield, Virginia, expressed her \u2064concerns, saying, &#8220;Except for what&#8217;s going on in Israel, I would have \u200bliked to see \u200dmore focus on \u2062domestic spending. I understand the importance of fighting Russia,\u200b but \u200bthe billions we&#8217;re spending on\u2062 Ukraine could be \u200bused\u2014have you \u200bever been \u2063to \u200cBaltimore?&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">Former President Donald Trump and other Republicans have attempted to blame the Biden administration for the Israel-Hamas\u2064 conflict, particularly pointing to \u2063the release of frozen assets to\u2062 Iran, a supporter of Hamas, on Sept. 11. Administration officials maintain that\u2062 the money has not \u200cbeen\u200b spent. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Immigration<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>  During \u200dhis \u2063presidential campaign, President Biden\u2062 promised to reverse \u2063immigration policies \u200bimplemented by the\u200d Trump administration, such\u2063 as family separation and efforts \u200cto end the DACA \u2062program.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>However, recently, President Biden has taken a different approach\u2063 to immigration.<\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 4, the Department of Homeland Security waived environmental\u2063 and \u2064other reviews to construct new portions of the\u2064 border wall in South \u2064Texas, despite Biden&#8217;s campaign promise to not build &#8220;another\u2063 foot&#8221; of\u2062 wall. Additionally,\u2063 the administration resumed\u200b deportations to\u200d Venezuela shortly \u2062after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-finds-more-than-18000-jobs-for-illegal-immigrants-with-work-permits\/\" title=\"Over 18,000 jobs found in New York for illegal immigrants with work permits.\">granting \u200cprotected status<\/a> to thousands of people from the \u2064country.<\/p>\n<p>Between Jan. 20, 2021, and March \u206231, 2023, there were over 5 million encounters\u200b with \u2063illegal aliens at the southern border. Of these encounters,\u2064 more than\u200b 2.4 million had no confirmed \u2063departure \u200cfrom the United \u200dStates, indicating issues with deportation\u2064 procedures. During the same\u2064 period, the DHS\u2064 released at least 2.1 million illegal immigrants into \u2063the country, with only 5,993 placed in removal proceedings and subsequently removed from the country.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I \u2062never thought I would agree with \u200bBiden on anything, \u2062but \u2062when he said he would start \u200cexpanding Trump&#8217;s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, I thought \u200cthat\u2064 was the best thing he&#8217;s done in his presidency so far,&#8221; Mr. Ripley\u2062 commented.<\/p>\n<p>However, this move\u200d has angered some Democratic \u2062voters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2063 didn&#8217;t vote to reelect Trump in\u200b 2020, and I really wish he didn&#8217;t do\u200c that,&#8221; Ms. Bailey said. \u200b&#8221;Then he&#8217;s\u2063 actually increased \u200cdeportations; I think we&#8217;re moving in the wrong direction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">Upon taking office, President Biden paused border wall construction and \u200ccanceled the \u2063Trump administration&#8217;s &#8220;Remain in Mexico&#8221; \u2064program. However, expulsions under Title 42 continued until May 2023. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Economy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>  Despite ongoing \u2062inflation concerns, President \u2062Biden \u200dis campaigning for \u200da second term, claiming that &#8220;Bidenomics&#8221; is working.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The White House stated, &#8220;Our\u200d economy\u200b has added more than\u2064 13 million jobs, including nearly 800,000 \u2063manufacturing jobs, and \u200dwe&#8217;ve \u2063unleashed a manufacturing and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidenomics-big-government-industrial-policy-and-centralized-control\/\" title=\"Bidenomics: Expansive Government, Industrial Strategy, and Centralized Authority\">clean energy boom<\/a>. The only difference is that the price of gas is\u2062 higher, and so\u200c is the price of food,&#8221; said Mr. Ripley, a Republican.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/rrapier\/2023\/03\/08\/average-gasoline-prices-under-the-past-four-presidents\/?sh=23b2aa8c64e6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forbes\u2064 report<\/a>, gas prices\u2063 nearly doubled under the Biden\u2062 administration compared to the Trump\u200c administration.<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;I think \u2062what \u200d [Biden] \u200d is doing to build more clean energy\u2062 jobs is great,&#8221; said Ms. Bailey, \u2063a Democrat. &#8220;But I still don&#8217;t have \u2063as much money as I used \u2062to \u200dwhen \u2062I leave \u2064the \u200dgrocery store.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The \u200dWhite \u2062House maintains that its &#8220;Inflation\u200c Reduction Act&#8221; has been effective, creating over 170,000 jobs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">&#8220;Maybe \u200bthere are \u2062more jobs out there now,\u200c but they&#8217;re low-paying jobs,&#8221;\u2063 Mr. \u200dKinnison remarked. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Racial Divides<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>  \u2062 During his 2020 campaign, President Biden promised to \u200daddress\u200c racial divisions in the United States and received the \u200bendorsement of\u2062 the\u200c Black Lives\u200b Matter movement, which \u200dclaimed credit for his victory, \u2062stating,\u200d &#8220;Once again, Black people\u2014especially Black women\u2014have\u2063 saved \u200bthe United States.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>However, after taking office, President Biden&#8217;s call to &#8220;fund the police&#8221; during his first State of the Union address \u2064created tension with activist groups \u200clike BLM.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Let&#8217;s\u2064 not abandon our streets. \u200bOr choose between\u200b safety and equal justice,&#8221; President Biden \u200bstated. &#8220;We should all agree: The answer is not\u200d to defund the police.\u200c The answer\u200c is to fund the\u200d police.
