It should have never been brought. This case should have never been brought. This case should be dismissed. This is ridiculous what\u2019s going on. And all you have to do is take a look at the record of the people in the room.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Trump: \u201cThe government\u2019s witness just got caught in a big, fat lie \u2026 This case should be dismissed.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dzgv7TfU5n\">pic.twitter.com\/dzgv7TfU5n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TPostMillennial\/status\/1714704372557291713?\">October 18, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The day featured the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-sworn-testimony-averted-nuclear-holocaust-white-house-saving-millions-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">testimony<\/a> of Donna Kidder, Trump company accountant, and certified real estate appraiser Doug Larson, who assessed Trump properties for lenders, the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-fraud-trial-net-worth-new-york-067501b1d742d4dccba2521ac3262fdb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Associated Press<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Kidder testified that on Trump company financial spreadsheets she followed instructions to make some assumptions that would benefit the firm.<\/p>\n<p>In his testimony, Larson testified that he had appraised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wall-street-veteran-recession-inevitable-us-economic-decline-will-begin-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wall Street<\/a> building owned by Trump at $540 million in 2015 compared to former Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney\u2019s $735.4 million valuation.<\/p>\n<p>However, Trump\u2019s attorney Lazaro Fields asked Larson whether it was illegal for President Trump \u2014 or anyone for that matter \u2014 to value his own property.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know. I wouldn\u2019t know. \u2026 Not that I know of,\u201d Larson responded.<\/p>\n<p>Fields then\u00a0confronted Larson about his Tuesday testimony in which he said that he had never worked with McConney or given him permission to be cited as an outside expert for valuations, <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/live-updates\/trump-fraud-trial\/estates-valuation-included-7-mansions-that-werent-yet-built-103785210?id=103642561\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WABC-TV<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou lied yesterday, didn\u2019t you?\u201d Fields asked before another Trump attorney, Chris Kise, advised Larson that he was at risk for perjuring himself \u2014 a move that state lawyer Colleen Faherty labeled as \u201cwitness intimidation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Larson was then briefly escorted out of the room.<\/p>\n<p>Fields then presented the court with an email from 2014 between McConney and Larson, which said, \u201cI hate to be a pest, but the accountants are coming in tomorrow to go over my valuations. Any chance you can answer my question below?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kise told the court that based on the existence of the email, \u201c[Larson] perjured himself yesterday, in my opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After acknowledging that the witness had been accused of perjury, the judge allowed Larson back on the witness stand, where he was again asked about his working relationship with McConney.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou knew in 2013 that Mr. McConney was using the information you sent him, mainly the capitalization rates, to value the Trump properties?\u201d Fields asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did,\u201d Larson responded.<\/p>\n<p>Trump was admonished by Judge Arthur Engoron when he spoke out loud to his attorneys at the defense table during the witness testimony.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Wallace, state attorney, said Trump\u2019s comments were \u201caudible on this side of the courtroom as well,\u201d according to WABC-TV.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-lawyer-vindicated-judge-press-hear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> made his remarks during a break in the trial, in which James is seeking <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/5-takeaways-ahead-trumps-250-million-civil-fraud\/story?id=103565220#:~:text=One%20year%20ago%2C%20on%20Sept,president%20of%20fraudulent%20business%20practices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$250 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div class=\"author_subscription_pitch\">.author_subscription_pitch p{margin:5px;}<\/p>\n<p><em><b>A Note from Our Founder:<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Silicon Valley and the Big Tech tyrants have done everything they can to put The Western Journal out of business.
