In a surprising move, ⁢Jordan has decided to support a plan that⁤ would temporarily empower interim speaker Patrick McHenry until January.

This decision comes after Jordan failed to secure the necessary votes in the first two rounds of voting. With 199 votes on Wednesday⁤ and 200 votes on Tuesday, Jordan fell short of the 217 votes needed for victory. Joyce believes that⁣ this move will allow ⁣the ‍GOP to take care of their ally, Israel, until a new Speaker is elected.

However, there is still division among ⁢other Republicans regarding whether McHenry should be granted the role. Rep.
