This is understandable, \u2062to some extent, as the current\u2063 conflict in the Middle East is obviously very important and has far-reaching implications. The\u2063 problem is that, first of all, our own leaders do not appear to be focusing on the right things. Namely, they \u200dshould be focusing on\u200d doing everything they possibly \u2062can\u200b to avoid World\u200d War III. But they seem entirely \u2064uninterested in avoiding a global\u2062 conflict. If anything, they are motivated \u2063in the\u200d opposite direction.\u2063 Many \u2062of them seem to want a \u200bworld war. And if they want \u2063it, they\u200c will get it.<\/p>\n<p>Second, as \u200bour gaze is directed at events\u2062 thousands of\u200b miles\u2064 away, our own country finds itself in an increasingly dire situation.\u200b We may soon have\u200b Middle\u200b East style\u2064 chaos in this country, thanks to our own\u2062 undefended, unprotected borders. In fact, I probably \u2063shouldn\u2019t \u200duse\u200d the word \u201cmay.\u201d It will happen. We \u200dare inviting it. \u200cAnd I\u2019ll explain what\u2062 I\u2063 mean.<\/p>\n<p>First,\u2063 however,\u2064 let\u2019s go \u200cback to one of the biggest lessons from 9\/11, which\u200b is that hindsight \u200dbias gets\u200c people killed. Here\u2019s how a lot of people \u200dthought prior to 9\/11. They figured, well, no terrorist has hijacked a U.S.\u200c commercial aircraft, anywhere\u200c in the world, for well over a\u2064 decade. They \u2063certainly have never flown them\u2063 into buildings. Therefore, \u200dit\u2019s crazy to worry about\u2064 any terror group hijacking planes and flying them into buildings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1245-the-matt-walsh-show\"><strong>WATCH: The Matt\u2063 Walsh \u2062Show<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pretty much\u200b everyone in aviation \u200bthought like that. In fact, just months before\u2063 9\/11, the\u200c leader of \u200ba major pilot safety association publicly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9-11commission.gov\/report\/911Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>opposed<\/strong><\/a>  the idea of reinforced cockpit doors. He\u2062 said, \u200c\u201cEven if you make a\u200d vault out of\u200d the door, if they \u200bhave a\u200c noose around my flight attendant\u2019s neck, \u200bI\u2019m going to\u200b open the \u200ddoor.\u201d\u200b The 9\/11 Commission put that quote in their \u200breport because the pilot\u2019s attitude reflected FAA guidance at the time, which stated that airplane crews should do whatever hijackers want, because there\u2019s no\u2062 way\u200d they\u2019d grab the\u2064 controls and \u2063turn the plane into a missile.<\/p>\n<p>The moment terrorists hijacked \u200dfour commercial airliners, and flew \u2064three of them into buildings and one of them into the ground, everyone on \u200dthe planet immediately\u200c understood\u200b how\u200b wrong\u200c the old way of thinking was. You don\u2019t discount the risk\u200c of a\u200d particular type of terrorist attack \u2064by saying it hasn\u2019t happened yet. Instead, you look \u200dfor vulnerabilities in\u2064 the existing system of defenses we \u2063have, because \u2064obviously, the terrorists are \u2063doing the same\u2063 thing. That was supposedly settled after 9\/11.<\/p>\n<p>But \u2064apparently\u200c it\u2019s not settled anymore, at \u200bleast not in\u2062 Washington. Last month, Republicans on the \u2063House \u200cJudiciary Committee held a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cxSFxQFUp_A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hearing<\/strong><\/a>  to investigate\u2064 how an operative with ties to ISIS had managed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/08\/29\/politics\/migrants-us-southern-border-smuggler-isis-ties\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>smuggle<\/strong><\/a>  more than a dozen migrants from Uzbekistan into the United\u2062 States through the southern border. The FBI\u200c still has no idea exactly \u2063how many Uzbekistanis this ISIS \u2062smuggler allowed into this country, nor \u200bdo they have any way to \u200ctrack them all\u200d down \u2014 which isn\u2019t surprising\u2064 given that this past\u200b fiscal year, there were <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GriffJenkins\/status\/1714357887655395601?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>more\u2063 illegal crossings<\/strong><\/a>  at the\u200b border than at any other time in the history\u200c of this country.<\/p>\n<p>How are Democrats\u2019 preferred \u201cimmigration experts\u201d responding to this \u200bdevelopment?<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s\u200d a clip from last month\u2019s House Judiciary Committee hearing, in\u200d which a vice president at the libertarian Cato Institute explains that Republicans are fearmongering about the border. Why? Because illegal \u2063migrants haven\u2019t conducted any terrorist\u2064 attacks\u200b yet.\u200c Watch:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s using pre-9\/11\u2063 logic, and Democrats are nodding along. Terrorists haven\u2019t used the wide-open southern\u2064 border to conduct a large-scale terrorist attack so far. Therefore, you\u2019re paranoid for thinking it\u2019s\u200c a\u2064 possibility. That\u2019s the idea. Pretty much every Democrat in Congress endorses that view. Which is kind of like leaving the door of your house wide open at night while\u200c you go \u200dto sleep \u2062based on the logic\u2064 that\u2062 you\u2019ve never \u2063been the victim of a home invasion robbery before. It \u2062hasn\u2019t happened \u200dyet, and \u200btherefore will never happen, and therefore \u2062there\u2019s\u200c no reason \u2063to do anything to prevent it from happening.<\/p>\n<p>This is how \u2062they\u2019re responding to the news that ISIS is\u200d bringing in migrants\u200b from Uzbekistan\u2064 who are completely unvetted. That\u2019s despite the \u200bfact that Uzbekistan has a long history of exporting terrorists\u2062 to this country. On Halloween night in 2017, for example, a 29-year-old Uzbek migrant (here\u200c on a visa and later became a legal \u2062permanent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/26\/us\/sayfullo-saipov-nyc-terror-attack-verdict\/index.html#:~:text=Sayfullo%20Saipov%20was%20found%20guilty,on%20Halloween%20Day%20in%202017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">resident<\/a>) drove\u2063 a \u2062truck into pedestrians and cyclists in Manhattan, killing\u200d eight of them and wounding many more. That attack followed the sentencing of another\u200b Uzbek migrant, also here on a visa, who\u2063 was found \u2064guilty of terrorism charges\u200c for planning to bomb \u200cConey Island.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats (and libertarians, apparently) want you to ignore all of this, because those Uzbekistani \u200dterrorists didn\u2019t\u2064 arrive\u2062 through the southern border. They came \u2062on \u200ca plane.\u2064 Therefore,\u2062 they\u2019re \u200csaying, \u2062you have no reason to worry about border security.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a totally nonsensical \u2064approach, but that\u2019s what they\u2019re going with. Republicans, for the most part, want you \u2062to\u200d focus on Ukraine and the Middle East. \u200bMitch McConnell, who is somehow\u200c still in office, says Ukraine is our top\u200c priority.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of\u200b this bipartisan consensus in Washington \u2014 this \u2064decision\u2062 to focus on every other \u200cborder except \u200cour own \u2014 there\u2019s now a very \u2063real risk that \u200cAmericans will die. As CNN reported,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>The episode [involving the ISIS smuggler] was so alarming that \u2064an \u200durgent \u200bclassified intelligence report \u200cwas circulated to President Joe Biden\u2019s top Cabinet officials in \u200dtheir \u2064morning briefing book. For\u200b some counterterrorism officials, it shows that the US is deeply vulnerable to the possibility that \u2063terrorists could sneak across the southern border \u2063by\u200b hiding amid the surge \u2063of migrants entering \u2064the \u2062country in search of asylum.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To be\u2062 clear, the Biden\u2062 administration isn\u2019t simply ignoring this problem, they\u2019re facilitating it. After 9\/11, the U.S. government started using a category called \u201cSpecial Interest Aliens\u201d \u2064to flag migrants coming from countries that promote terrorism, such \u200das Uzbekistan. The idea was to be transparent \u200dwith Americans about who exactly is coming into this country, and from where. But the Biden administration has decided to hide that data.<\/p>\n<p>At the same hearing, Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies also\u2064 testified. He told\u2064 lawmakers that, \u201cThe\u2064 Biden \u200dadministration has taken steps \u2064to obscure the numbers of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/potential-terrorist-from-saudi-arabia-found-crossing-border-into-arizona-say-feds\/\" title=\"\u2018Potential Terrorist\u2019 from Saudi Arabia Found Crossing Border into Arizona, Say Feds\">special interest aliens<\/a> from the \u2062US public, ending routine reporting of these \u2018apprehensions by nationality.&#8217;\u201d Indeed, on the Border Patrol website,\u2063 they don\u2019t list the\u2064 number of special interest migrants coming from the vast majority\u2063 of Muslim countries. They don\u2019t want you to \u200cknow how many people\u200d ISIS could be bringing to this country from places like Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p>But many of \u200dthose numbers have leaked anyway. \u2063And Todd Bensman\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/judiciary.house.gov\/sites\/evo-subsites\/republicans-judiciary.house.gov\/files\/evo-media-document\/bensman-testimony.pdf?_gl=1*1c2zu3u*_ga*MTE4MTA5MTI3OS4xNjk3NTg5NDg1*_ga_1818ZEQW81*MTY5NzU4OTQ4NC4xLjEuMTY5NzU5MDMwNC4wLjAuMA..\"><strong>told<\/strong><\/a>  \u2064the House Judiciary Committee what they show. It turns out that our southern border \u200dis so\u2063 overwhelmed with migrants \u2064that we\u2019re not able \u200cto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/while-we-look-overseas-terrorists-are-streaming-across-our-own-border\/\" title=\"Terrorists infiltrate our borders while we focus abroad.\">effectively screen special interest aliens<\/a> at all. Watch:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Those numbers don\u2019t even seem possible. Between October 2022\u2063 and August 2023 \u2014 that\u2019s less than a\u2064 year\u2019s time \u2014 more than 75,000 special interest aliens were encountered by Border Patrol. Before the current border crisis, the number of \u2062special interest\u2064 aliens encountered by Border Patrol officials\u2062 was closer to 3,000. And these\u2062 are just the migrants \u2062that\u200b were \u201cencountered.\u201d The actual number of special interest aliens arriving at our border is far\u2064 larger.<\/p>\n<p>And again, \u2062these are just\u200d the people coming from countries that the U.S. government \u200bbelieves are a high risk of terrorism. We\u2019re also importing the \u2063rest \u200cof the Third \u200dWorld, too,\u200b without any vetting whatsoever. Along with\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/chicago-shootings-spike-again-in-march-four-cops-shot-as-crime-wave-continues\/\" title=\"Chicago Shootings Spike Again In March, Four Cops Shot As Crime Wave Continues\">de-policing<\/a>, \u200bthat\u2019s leading to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cremieuxrecueil\/status\/1714419356816290093?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>drastic increases<\/strong><\/a>  in violent crime rates in this country. We\u2019re not taking \u2063in families or stable households. We\u2019re taking in mostly young men with\u200c no ties to this country and very little to\u2062 lose. When Democrats talk about illegal immigrants, they want you to imagine mothers with \u2064young children fleeing\u2062 poverty and oppression. The huddled masses yearning to breathe free, \u200cthey tell us.\u2063 Because they\u200d think a poem engraved on a large statue carries \u200bthe weight\u200c of law\u200b and should actually determine our immigration policy. But this does not really\u200b describe a great \u200cnumber of the immigrants pouring across the \u200dborder. There are some mothers with young children.<\/p>\n<p>But what you just saw in the video were\u2064 a bunch of young, military-aged males. The sorts of\u200c people\u200b who could be of \u200cuse in their own countries. They\u2064 could be trying to \u2062improve their own homes, fighting to \u200dmake their own\u200b countries \u2063prosperous \u2014 or at least livable \u2014 but instead they come here. And not always with the best of intentions.<\/p>\n<p>This is what happens when politicians promise\u2064 free healthcare to illegal \u200baliens, as\u2064 every Democratic Party\u200c presidential candidate\u2064 did in the last election.<\/p>\n<p>This is what \u2064happens \u200dwhen the president\u2063 of the United States announces his\u200b commitment to\u2063 making America less \u200dwhite, and decides to \u200ddefame any Border Patrol officer who tries\u2063 to enforce the \u200claw.<\/p>\n<p>This is what happens \u200dwhen we are more concerned with \u2064other country\u2019s\u200b borders than our own.<\/p>\n<p>And this is why people from Haiti,\u200d and so many other countries, are heading for \u2064the U.S. border, which is not \u200deven remotely secure.<\/p>\n<p>ISIS sees this happening. Every terrorist organization\u2063 on the\u200d planet sees \u2062it happening. They saw the atrocities\u200b that Hamas was just able to commit\u2063 against Israel, which has one of the\u2062 most closely\u200c surveilled\u2062 and guarded borders\u2062 on the entire \u200dplanet. There is no doubt that they\u2019re looking \u2062at our \u2062open border as an opportunity to commit similar \u2062acts \u200bof \u2062barbarism\u2064 in\u2064 this country.<\/p>\n<p>Courtesy \u200bof ISIS, \u2062there\u2019s reason to \u200dbelieve that many of these terrorists are already \u2064here. We can either respond by closing \u200dand\u2063 militarizing \u200bthe border and beginning mass deportations, or we can prepare ourselves\u2062 for the inevitable.<\/p>\n<p>There \u2063will be an attack. \u2063The Left \u200bwill\u2063 pretend to re-learn the lessons of\u2062 9\/11 all over again. But\u2064 according to Democrats, we shouldn&#8217;t worry because nothing bad has happened yet. It&#8217;s a dangerous mindset that puts our country at risk.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200b problem with neglecting our own borders\u2063 is that it leaves us vulnerable to all sorts of threats, not just\u2063 terrorism. Drug smuggling, human trafficking,\u200d and the\u200b spread of infectious\u2062 diseases \u200care just a few examples. Our leaders should prioritize securing our borders \u200band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-administration-gives-protected-status-to-472000-illegal-immigrants\/\" title=\"Biden grants protected status to 472K undocumented immigrants.\">implementing effective immigration policies<\/a> that \u2064protect the interests and safety of our citizens.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not about being anti-immigrant or isolationist, \u200bbut rather about ensuring \u2062that those who come into \u2062our country do so legally and that we have the resources and\u200b systems \u200din place to properly vet and screen individuals. It&#8217;s about maintaining the rule of law and national security. Ignoring these issues and \u200cturning a\u2062 blind eye to the \u200cpotential consequences is \u200da\u2063 grave mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, \u200cthe focus\u2064 on events overseas needs\u2062 to be balanced\u2062 with a strong focus on domestic issues. While it&#8217;s important to address global conflicts and support our allies, we cannot neglect the \u200dneeds \u200dand concerns of \u2064our own citizens. Our leaders should be\u200c prioritizing issues such as healthcare, education, \u2063infrastructure, and the \u200deconomy. It&#8217;s their duty to ensure the well-being and prosperity of the American \u2062people.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, our leaders&#8217; misplaced priorities, particularly their neglect of \u200dour own borders, pose a great danger to our country. We cannot afford to be complacent or naive about the risks that exist. It&#8217;s time for our leaders \u200dto shift their focus, take responsibility, and prioritize the safety \u2063and\u2062 well-being of our nation. \u200dOnly then\u2064 can we truly thrive\u2063 as a country and protect\u200b our \u200cinterests\u200c for generations \u200dto come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Currently, the spotlight is on global affairs, particularly the significant Middle East conflict.
