The unnamed U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/calif-military-base-becomes-third-to-house-unaccompanied-migrant-children\/\" title=\"Calif. military base becomes third to house unaccompanied migrant children\">defense official confirmed<\/a> the incident.<\/p>\n<p>But the\u200d drama didn&#8217;t end there. &#8220;Hours later, an Iraqi militia announced it had launched another\u200b drone attack on a second base,&#8221; reported the AP.<\/p>\n<p>However, the \u200csecond attack was also foiled, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us-says-thwarts-drone-attack-its-troops-iraq-2023-10-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a>. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in either incident.<\/p>\n<p>The Iran-backed \u2063Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for both \u200dattacks and issued a warning of more &#8220;operations&#8221; against the so-called &#8220;American occupation,&#8221;\u2063 according to the AP.<\/p>\n<p>Middle East security\u200c analyst \u2062Seth\u2062 Frantzman highlighted the significance of the situation, noting that Iran has a stockpile of kamikaze-type drones and has even \u2062supplied Russia, Hamas, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-hezbollah-bombards-israeli-positions-disputed-area-along-border-syrias-golan-heights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hezbollah<\/a> with\u2064 drone technology.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Important.
