The <em>Washington Free \u2063Beacon<\/em> obtained \u2062a letter detailing the company&#8217;s response.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the <em>Free Beacon<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/starbucks-union-championed-by-bernie-sanders-and-aoc-celebrates-hamas-attacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that Starbucks Workers United had shown &#8220;Solidarity with Palestine!&#8221; in now<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nfl-star-chandler-jones-claims-raiders-sent-crisis-response-to-his-home-just-days-before-kickoff\/\" title=\"NFL star Chandler Jones alleges that the Raiders sent a crisis response team to his house shortly before the game.\">-deleted social media posts<\/a>. Chapters of the union in Iowa, Chicago, and Boston \u200ceven\u2063 organized \u2064rallies in support of Hamas attacks \u200bon Israel, including a &#8220;Long Live Palestinian Resistance&#8221; rally in Boston. The union&#8217;s endorsement of a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of\u2064 over 1,200 Israelis faced \u2062widespread condemnation, with calls from Sen. Rick Scott (R., Fla.) to boycott Starbucks due to the union&#8217;s stance.<\/p>\n<p>However, Starbucks\u2064 vehemently rejects the union&#8217;s support for Hamas and \u2063is\u2062 demanding that Starbucks \u2063Workers United immediately stop \u2063using the company&#8217;s name \u200dand logo. The company argues \u200bthat the union&#8217;s statements &#8220;advocate for violence&#8221; and have caused \u200c&#8221;irreparable \u2062harm&#8221; to Starbucks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Starbucks does not support your organization&#8217;s position,&#8221; stated Starbucks\u2062 counsel Rocky C. Tsai in a letter to Lynne Fox, the international president of Workers United. &#8220;This matter must be resolved immediately. If it is not, we will seek all \u2064appropriate legal relief, including without limitation monetary damages.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Starbucks Workers United, which represents only three percent of Starbucks employees, has gained support from liberal lawmakers such \u200bas Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., \u2062Vt.), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), and Sen. John Fetterman (D., Pa.).<\/p>\n<p>The Starbucks union\u200c is not the only American liberal group aligning with Hamas against Israel. The Democratic Socialists of America, which includes five House Democrats, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/the-squads-socialist-party-rallies-in-support-of-palestine-hours-after-hamas-terror-attacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">held rallies<\/a> across the country in support of Hamas, which\u200b has taken numerous \u200cwomen and children hostage.
