Both are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trans-activists-threw-everything-riley-gaines-one-brutal-message-men-dresses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transgendered<\/a> competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Allison Zmuda was the \u200bonly female in the top\u2062 three of the Singe Speed \u2062race as she finished third.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2063 winning the women\u2019s Cat\u2064 Half, Johnson\u200b won $150, Williamson won $75\u200c for placing fourth in that \u2062race.<\/p>\n<p>The Post reported that Williamson has racked\u200c up \u200b18 wins since he began <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/womens-race-hit-woke-shock-men-take-top-spots-steal-majority-winners-podium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">competing<\/a> \u200b against\u2064 women in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The report noted \u200cthat in 2020, Williamson entered against both women and \u2062men in the Sky \u200dExpress Winter Criterium. \u2062He\u200d won \u2063first \u200cplace against women, but did not place when competing\u200b against other men.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200brace followed the rules set by USA Cycling, saying that at \u201cnon-elite \u2063competition levels, a member may self-select their\u2062 gender,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/trans-athletes-take-first-second-place-chicago-womens-cycling-event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Former coach Linda Blade blasted the \u200dresult in a\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/10\/13\/trans-cyclists-take-gold-and-silver-in-chicago-womens-races\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post on X<\/a> she wrote, \u201cRace organizers of @usacycling need to stop calling these \u200d\u2018women\u2019s events.\u2019 \u200bYou are fooling nobody. These are \u2018beta-male races\u2019 \u200dwhere some women get\u2064 to be involved.
