Many say it\u2019s the worst attack on \u2062the Jewish\u2064 people since the Holocaust. In a special episode, The Daily Wire\u2019s \u201cMorning Wire\u201d spoke directly to individuals who lived through some of the most brutal atrocities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On October 7, Iran-backed Hamas launched \u200ba\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/h-r-mcmaster-resigns-from-atlantic-council-board-of-directors-in-protest-over-koch-funding\/\" title=\"H.R. McMaster Resigns From Atlantic Council Board of Directors in Protest Over Koch Funding\">devastating terrorist attack<\/a> on Israel, <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/International\/live-updates\/israel-gaza-hamas\/?id=103804516\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">killing<\/a> more than 1,300 people and injuring roughly 3,200 more, targeting Israeli families, including infants. Israel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/10\/08\/middleeast\/israel-gaza-attack-hostages-response-intl-hnk\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declared<\/a> war against \u200bHamas last Sunday and has been \u2063responding militarily since. \u2062Daily Wire contributor Natalie Mann traveled the \u2064country\u200b to gather some first-hand accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Witnessing Horror:\u2064 Avi&#8217;s Account<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI\u2019m\u200d not believing what I see, it\u2019s not real,\u201d Avi, an ambulance driver who was one of the first responders to the Tribe of Nova music festival, where \u200c260 people were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/10\/07\/middleeast\/israel-gaza-fighting-hamas-attack-music-festival-intl-hnk\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">murdered<\/a>, told The Daily Wire. \u201cWe come here with the ambulance, \u200cwe come to the party, and I see just every, everything is bodies, everything. A lot of\u2063 blood, a \u2063lot of shooting,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In \u200dall, Avi said he collected 100 bodies in the span\u2062 of four hours, saying that everywhere\u2064 he \u2064went, there were more bodies. After his encounters, Avi said he holds no sympathy for Hamas and views them as Nazis.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Heartbreaking Loss: \u2063Doron Admoni&#8217;s Story<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMorning Wire\u201d\u200d also spoke\u2063 to 67-year-old \u200cDoron Admoni,\u200b who is from one of the \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/noreaster-pummels-massachusetts-upwards-of-490000-businesses-and-homes-lose-power\/\" title=\"Nor'easter Pummels Massachusetts: Upwards of 490,000 Businesses and Homes Lose Power\">hardest-hit areas<\/a> of \u200cKibbutz Kfar Aza,\u2064 just a kilometer and a \u2062half from \u200dthe barrier with Gaza. Admoni\u2019s wife, Michal, 66, and his 25-year-old\u2062 son, Guy, were\u2063 killed by Hamas in the attacks.\u200d At \u2062the \u2064time, \u200bAdmoni\u2063 was in the United States \u2062visiting his other son.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He said the last message he received from his wife was her \u200dexpressing her worries over the family dog running away. Shortly after, \u200dhe received\u200c a message from a friend in the kibbutz explaining\u2062 the situation. After 15 minutes, Admoni says he could feel that his wife \u200band son were\u2063 \u201cnot with \u200dus anymore.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cNo chance for\u200c them,\u201d Admoni said. \u201cAnd, now we know exactly that Guy and Michal [were] killed at home. They found them. And I know\u200d that Guy supported his \u200cmom. \u200bAnd he\u2064 never leave her. And they kill them when\u2063 they are together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAnd now we have to see how we continue \u200bthe life, our life. That\u2019s all I must do. I must \u200dbe strong and, rebuild\u200c the family from the beginning now,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>A Terrifying Ordeal: Elinor&#8217;s Experience<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Another Israeli that \u201cMorning Wire\u201d spoke to is Elinor, who was from the same kibbutz as Admoni. Hamas terrorists invaded Elinor\u2019s \u2062home, but she, \u2062her husband, and\u2064 her children were able\u2063 to flee into a safe room. Elinor said a siren went off around 6:30 a.m. last Saturday, prompting\u200d her and her\u200d family \u2063to enter the room.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI think it took at least 7 minutes when the siren kept going \u200bon and \u2062on and on and on and on. And my\u2062 husband looked at me and he whispered and says, \u200b\u2018Something\u2019s different.\u2019 He says, \u2018I \u2063smell something\u200b else,\u2019\u201d Elinor recounted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSuddenly we heard this huge bomb and we were sure the terrorists [were] in our\u2062 house,\u201d she said. \u201cWe heard\u2064 them walking around the house\u200c for sure. We heard them on the roof. And every once in a while, they just shot. I don\u2019t know if they \u200cshot \u2062someone or\u200b just to terrify \u2063us. They kept us in stress for so many \u2062hours and they terrified us in every single way they could\u200d have done \u200dit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Asked what message \u2063she would want the world to hear from\u200c her experience over the past week, Elinor said, \u201cThey \u2062butchered us, family after family. House after house. \u2026 I \u200bjust want to\u200d be again Eleanor, that\u2019s it.\u2063 Not Eleanor from Kfar Aza, \u200bwhere I\u2019m saying where I am from and everybody\u2019s looking at me and mourn for\u2063 me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>A Lifeline in Chaos: Mark \u200cJoffe&#8217;s Account<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMorning Wire\u201d also spoke to \u200bMark Joffe, whose adult son manages their thrift\u2062 store WhatsApp group from his home in Tel Aviv. The text group has hundreds\u200b of members and became \u2063a primary source of communication and information during the 23 hours they were held \u2063up in their safe rooms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cPeople joined it from all over. It had about 450 members\u2063 in it very quickly. And it\u2062 became the main way of people reporting what was going on where. It was\u200c a very unofficial and a very disturbing sort of line\u2063 of,\u2064 \u2018They\u2063 are here, they are \u200dcoming in. They\u2019re on my roof.\u200c Shots are being fired outside my house. Elinor added that she could hear the terrorists \u200dtrying to\u2064 break into the house and speaking in Arabic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After several hours, \u2062Elinor and her\u200c family were rescued by Israeli forces. They discovered that\u200c their \u200dhome had been destroyed, along with their\u200d belongings. Despite the trauma, Elinor remains hopeful and determined to rebuild \u2064her life. \u201cWe\u2019ll rebuild.
