Version: 4.0.47--><h2>Fed-Up Judge Slams Jack Smith&#8217;s Prosecutors: &#8216;Wasting the Court&#8217;s Time&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p>A district \u2062judge overseeing \u200bthe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fed-up-judge-smacks-jack-smiths-prosecutors-wasting-the-courts-time\/\" title=\"Judge reprimands Jack Smith's prosecutors for wasting court's time.\">classified documents case hanging<\/a> over \u200cformer President Donald Trump\u2019s head is sick and tired of the\u2064 three-ring circus \u200dbeing \u2064run by the clowns \u200cfrom special \u2064counsel Jack Smith\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>U.S.\u2062 District \u200dJudge \u2063Aileen Cannon admonished prosecutors on Thursday during\u2064 a key hearing, and she did not mince words.<\/p>\n<p>According to \u200ba\u2062 report by\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palmbeachpost.com\/story\/news\/crime\/2023\/10\/12\/attorneys-in-donald-trump-mar-a-lago-classified-documents-case-conflicts-of-interest-doj-says\/71140671007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Palm\u2062 Beach Post<\/a>, Cannon lambasted Smith\u2019s team and accused them of \u201cwasting the court\u2019s time\u201d\u200c over a last-minute request \u2064that was brought up.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Justice Department\u2019s\u2062 David Harbach had voiced concerns to Cannon that the lawyers \u2063of Trump\u2019s co-defendants, Waltine\u2063 Nauta and Carlos de Oliveira, should be \u2064removed due to potential conflicts \u2064of \u200binterest.<\/p>\n<p>Harbach\u2019s\u2064 concern primarily stemmed\u2063 from the fact that the lawyers\u2019\u200b past and present clients may be asked to testify\u200d against Nauta and de Oliveira.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/congressional-probe-launched-jack-smith-given-deadline-turn-materials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Smith\u2019s<\/a> lackey argued that \u200dthe lawyers\u2019 inherent loyalty to \u200ctheir clients conflicts with their ability to properly defend Nauta\u200d and de Oliveira.<\/p>\n<p>(As if \u200cthese \u200cbuffoons \u2064care about Nauta and de\u200b Oliveira getting a fair shake \u2026)<\/p>\n<h3>Judge \u200dCannon&#8217;s Frustration<\/h3>\n<p>Look, this writer isn\u2019t nearly well-versed enough in legalese to make\u2062 any sort\u2064 of\u2063 determination \u200don the \u2063validity of Harbach\u2019s request.<\/p>\n<p>There are, however, a few\u200b significant things one can ascertain from this embarrassing chiding from Judge Cannon.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, and very \u200dimportantly, \u2063Cannon appears annoyed.<\/li>\n<li>Apart from the terse verbiage, she also admonished the \u2063legal \u200dteam for not presenting these concerns in earlier legal filings.<\/li>\n<li>The scene painted by the Post made it clear that the prosecutors knew they were getting on Cannon\u2019s \u200blast nerves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The outlet noted that &#8220;Attorneys at the defense table traded glances\u2064 as\u200d the judge became shorter and shorter with\u2063 Harbach. He insisted that his \u2062position was\u200c \u2018unremarkable\u2019 and supported by other\u200b court decisions, though Cannon took a dim view of the three he offered her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Second, no matter which way you dissect\u2062 it, this reflects\u2063 poorly on Smith\u200d and \u2062his crusade against Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Because, assuming Harbach\u2019s legal concern is legitimate \u200d\u2014 and that seems \u200dlike a big assumption, based\u2064 on Cannon\u2019s\u2064 reported response\u2062 \u2014 that leaves one of two options: Smith\u2019s team intentionally withheld this concern and waited until the last \u2064possible minute to raise \u2064it (more on this possibility shortly) or they\u2019re just flat-out incompetent.<\/p>\n<p>The second option is a clear and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/three-strikes-jack-smith-latest-ruling-last\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">distinct possibility<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But the first option is an intriguing\u2063 possibility as well, because it would be incredible \u2064fodder for the more conspiratorial-minded of former Trump\u2019s\u200d supporters.<\/p>\n<p>Because if you ask certain sects\u2064 of \u200dthe \u2063right what they\u200d think about the former president\u2019s numerous legal entanglements, they will be sure to tell \u2063you that\u200d the charges being brought against Trump are weaponized, \u200bspurious and meant\u2064 to harm his standing as\u2062 America\u200d barrels toward the \u20622024 election season.<\/p>\n<p>If you were \u200bto assume that Jack Smith\u2019s legal team intentionally waited until the last \u200dminute to present\u200d this argument, that feeds into every \u2064bit of the claims\u2062 that these charges are \u2063indeed weaponized, spurious and meant to harm Trump\u200b in the upcoming presidential primary and (if\u200d needed) general elections.<\/p>\n<p>For\u200c now, however, it seems\u2062 Trump will have to continue to fight \u200boff these allegations \u2014 all of which he has vehemently denied, \u2062by the way \u2014 while still trying to find time\u200c to campaign. However, the constant legal battles and\u200b the circus surrounding them are undoubtedly\u200b taking a toll on \u200dhim and his campaign.<\/p>\n<p>It is also worth mentioning the astounding hypocrisy of those who claim \u200bto be champions of justice and fairness. In their pursuit \u2064of Trump, they \u200dare resorting to tactics that undermine the very\u200b principles\u200b they claim to \u200buphold.\u2063 The fact\u200d that they could potentially be withholding crucial\u2062 information or deliberately \u200cplaying games with the court system is deeply troubling.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, this latest incident adds to the growing \u2063list of \u200dmissteps and\u2064 questionable actions by \u2064Jack Smith and his team. It is time for a thorough examination\u200c of the actions and\u2064 motivations of Jack Smith and his team. We must demand accountability and\u2064 transparency to ensure that justice is\u2064 served and that the integrity of our legal system is preserved.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, we can only hope that Judge\u2064 Cannon&#8217;s frustration will serve as a wake-up call to those \u2063involved.
