He firmly believes in the classic liberal principle of &#8220;I disagree with what\u2063 you say but I will defend \u2062to the death your right to say it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He even gives credit where\u200d it&#8217;s due, even\u200b if it&#8217;s to a card-carrying\u2063 conservative like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.<\/p>\n<p>When you compare Maher to \u200dthe nonsensical leftist propaganda spewed by \u200dpundits on shows \u2063like &#8220;The View&#8221; or CBS News, he \u2064almost seems like a moderate.<\/p>\n<p>Almost.<\/p>\n<p>But what \u200bsets Maher\u200c apart from leftists is \u2062his dash of common sense and \u200dshred of decency, two \u2062qualities that are often lacking in their rhetoric.<\/p>\n<p>And when it comes to the horrific footage emerging from the Israel-Hamas \u200dconflict, even if you\u2062 don&#8217;t know much about the\u2064 geopolitical issues at \u2064play, it doesn&#8217;t take much more\u2064 than a functioning conscience and a \u200bpair of eyes to denounce\u200c the barbaric tactics used by \u200bHamas militants.<\/p>\n<p>War is one thing, but sitting on a woman with broken legs while others laugh and spit\u200d on her lifeless body? That should\u2064 be easy to denounce\u2064 wholeheartedly, right?<\/p>\n<p>Well, apparently not for many people, politicians, and educators who\u2062 struggle to denounce \u2063the\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-blackburn-calls-on-america-to-stand-with-israel-amid-hamas-atrocities\/\" title=\"Sen. Blackburn urges support for Israel amidst Hamas atrocities.\">brutal actions committed<\/a> by Hamas militants. And Maher is fed up with this nonsensical rhetoric.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent episode of &#8220;Real Time with Bill Maher,&#8221; he unleashed his frustration with the left&#8217;s sympathy for Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>After pointing out that many of the country&#8217;s \u200bissues stem \u2064from\u200d left-leaning colleges, Maher cited Judith Butler, an anti-Israel professor from the University \u2062of California, Berkeley, who defended Hamas and\u200c Hezbollah\u200c as\u2062 &#8220;progressive&#8221; social movements.<\/p>\n<p>Maher&#8217;s criticism \u2063of the left may make it \u2062seem like he&#8217;s\u2064 antagonizing them more often, but \u200cthe \u200dtruth is that the left keeps embracing the madness coming from individuals like \u2064Butler.<\/p>\n<p>So, \u200cwhen Maher claims \u200bthat the left&#8217;s moral\u200c compass is broken, he couldn&#8217;t be more wrong.
