And if I\u2019m being honest, it was everything I hoped it would be, and more. It\u2019s almost like the holiday was invented as a form of performance art\u2062 by someone who\u2063 wants to expose the gender cult and demonstrate how absurd the whole thing is. In\u200b fact, that\u2019s not a completely inaccurate way to describe the origins of\u200b National Coming Out\u2062 Day. I\u2019ll get to that in a second.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But first, it\u2019s\u2062 important \u2062to make clear that this holiday was not some fringe event that no one observed. The White House \u2062held \u2062a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2023\/10\/12\/readout-of-white-house-meeting-with-latino-lgbtqi-leaders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">meeting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u200d with \u201cLatino \u2064LGBTQI+ leaders\u201d to mark National Coming\u200c Out Day. Various media outlets and social media personalities promoted \u200dit. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-city-schools-are-reopening-but-a-staggering-number-of-students-are-still-out-of-the-classroom\/\" title=\"New York City Schools Are Reopening, But A Staggering Number Of Students Are Still Out Of The Classroom\">largest school system<\/a> in\u200c the city\u2062 of Los Angeles <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/but-johnny-cant-spell-g-a-y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">decided<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  to hold an entire week of events to celebrate National \u200bComing Out Day, which doesn\u2019t \u200deven really make sense, since it\u2019s supposed to last just one day.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In any event, the idea behind this day (or week) of celebration is, of course, to\u200c encourage\u2063 young people to tell everyone that \u200dthey\u2019re gay, or trans, or non-binary or one of \u2063the other infinite sexual identities. Apparently,\u2062 there was no way that people could do that during Pride month, or International Pronouns Day, or the Trans Day of Remembrance, or International Lesbian Day which was also this\u200d week,\u2064 or any of\u200c the other dozens\u200d of days on the calendar set aside for LGBT people. They need a separate day, \u2064just \u200dfor \u201ccoming\u200c out,\u201d in mid-October. \u200dAnd this \u2064past Wednesday, we\u2019re led \u2063to believe, a bunch of people did just that, for the first time in their lives. They announced, to the whole world, \u2063that they\u2019re an L, or a\u2062 G, \u2063or a B, \u2063or a T, or maybe a +.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So what happened next? What grand consequences resulted from this momentous event? Well, that\u2019s the good part. \u200dAs far as I can tell \u200dfrom reviewing \u200call the \u2063available \u200bdata on this, literally nothing\u2063 happened. There was\u200b no discernible \u2063response whatsoever. There were no reports\u200c that anyone was beaten in the aftermath of National Coming Out Day. No one was fired from their \u2063job for proudly declaring on\u200b social media that they\u2019re a non-binary or a pansexual.\u2063 No homosexuals were \u2063suspiciously crushed \u2062by pianos. The world just kept on turning, and no one cared.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1242-the-matt-walsh-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That\u2019s why I\u2019m\u200b finally getting around to celebrating National Coming Out day, a couple days late. In one fell swoop, this holiday has completely debunked\u200b every Left-wing narrative of\u2063 \u201cLGBTQ oppression\u201d that \u200dwe\u2019ve been force-fed for the past several years. Consider that it\u2063 was just a few months ago that we were told by the so-called \u201cHuman Rights Campaign\u201d that there\u2019s a \u200b\u201cnationwide state of emergency\u201d because,\u200c as they say, \u201cLGBTQ+ people\u201d are endangered. Watch:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So,\u2062 there\u2019s a nationwide state\u2063 of emergency because there are real, tangible and dangerous threats to the \u201cLGBT community.\u201d \u200dThat was just four months ago. And then, despite those threats, this week these same activist organizations told everyone to\u2062 publicly\u2062 announce\u2063 that they\u2019re part of\u200c this victimized club. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And a lot of people did heed that call. In fact, NBC News just <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/nbc-out\/nbc-out-proud\/national-coming-day-10-celebrities-came-2023-far-rcna119788\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">published<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u200dan entire list of celebrities who came out of the closet \u2014 not just on National\u2062 Coming Out\u2063 Day, but throughout the \u200byear 2023. This happens every year, \u200cand every year there are more and more. Some of them are coming out for\u200d the second and \u2064third time. Some are coming out\u2063 as sexualities that don\u2019t mean anything, like Wayne Brady declaring he\u2019s \u201cpansexual.\u201d And yet none of these people\u2063 \u2014 the celebrities, the random kids on social media \u2014 none of them have faced any consequences whatsoever. No one responded \u200cto them with bigotry or violence or any of that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Does anyone in the corporate media or at the Human Rights Campaign think that\u2019s a bit odd? You\u2019d think they\u2019d actually be thrilled by this news. Despite a supposed nationwide terror campaign against LGBTQ+ folks, a bunch of people just publicly declared their sexual orientation or gender identity or whatever. And they somehow survived the week, totally unscathed. How could this be?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you listen to what these activists \u2064are saying this week, you won\u2019t get an answer to that question. They \u200dwon\u2019t grapple\u2062 with any of \u200bthis. But you will get a very clear window into how they\u200d think, and how effortlessly they will lie to you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here, for example, is one\u2064 representative of the so-called Human Rights Campaign, doing the rounds on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-diner-reportedly-pulls-pistol-as-armed-blm-protesters-storm-restaurant\/\" title=\"WATCH: Diner Reportedly Pulls Pistol As Armed BLM Protesters Storm Restaurant\">local news stations<\/a> to promote National Coming\u200c Out Day. And\u2064 as part\u200d of his schtick, he explains that \u2062the murder of \u2062Matthew Sheppard \u2063in 1998 is one of the reasons that the organization is so adamant about promoting National Coming Out Day. Here\u2019s the\u2063 clip:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you parse what \u2062the anchor lady and the H.R.C. spokesman are saying, it becomes very clear what\u2019s going on. Neither one\u2064 of them explicitly states that Matthew Sheppard was murdered because he was\u2063 gay. They imply it, but they don\u2019t come \u2062out \u2062and say it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What \u2064that tells you is that they \u200bknow they\u2019re lying. I\u2019ve talked about this case before. But the basic facts of this case are completely different from what the\u2064 leftists at H.R.C. and the corporate media will tell you. Many years ago,\u200d an investigative journalist named Stephen Jimenez\u2063 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2014\/oct\/26\/the-truth-behind-americas-most-famous-gay-hate-murder-matthew-shepard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">looked\u200d into<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  the Matthew Sheppard case. He found that Sheppard\u2064 was a high-value\u200d meth dealer\u2063 and prostitute who was killed by one of his gay lovers. So the whole narrative lionizing Matthew Sheppard \u2014 which\u2062 Bill \u2064Clinton and the entire news media pushed at the time \u2014 was false. And yet, decades later, activists are *still* citing his case,\u2064 and implying he was\u200b murdered because he was gay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All of\u2062 corporate media is doing the same thing. The other day, the Associated\u200c Press ran an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/matthew-shepard-lgbtq-rights-db6142ccc885a86dde5e4eeb9f42b539\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">article<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u2014\u200b which was picked \u2063up by NBC News and other outlets \u2014 stating that the death of Matthew Shepard \u201chas\u2064 been memorialized as an egregious hate crime.\u201d Again, they\u2019re playing with language. They know Matthew Shepard\u2019s death wasn\u2019t a hate\u2062 crime. But they \u2018re telling you\u2064 it\u200d was \u201cmemorialized\u201d as one, \u200cand then they\u2019re refusing to give you the context. It\u2019s actually\u2062 a clever trick. Even I would have\u2063 to admit that the statement is true. It was indeed <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">memorialized<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  as a hate crime. It\u2019s just that \u2063it wasn\u2019t \u200c <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">actually<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u2062a hate crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So \u2062what is the point of all these\u200c lies? They\u2019re lying about the dangers face by \u201cLGBTQ youth.\u201d They \u2018re lying about Matthew Sheppard. What\u2019s the goal? Where is this all leading to? A year ago, the president and CEO\u200d of GLAAD, \u200bin her attempt to\u2063 promote National Coming Out Day, spilled the beans. Here\u2019s her explanation of what this whole\u2064 charade is all\u200d about.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Don\u2019t just \u200dcome out, \u200csays \u2064the CEO of one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-left-accidentally-destroys-its-own-narrative-with-national-coming-out-day\/\" title=\"Left undermines own narrative with 'National Coming Out Day'\">largest gay activist groups<\/a>\u2062 on \u200cthe planet. \u2063Come out to vote, too! It\u2019s so unbelievably transparent.\u2062 They \u2063can\u2019t hide it. This isn\u2019t \u2064about anyone\u2019s sexuality or oppression or whatever. It\u2019s about marshaling\u200b more votes for the Democratic Party. \u200dIt\u2019s about \u200breinforcing the Left\u2019s ideological stranglehold on the culture. It\u2019s as simple and cynical as that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To be fair, later in that interview, this same \u2064woman \u2014 the \u2064CEO of GLAAD\u200c \u2014 does attempt to \u2062offer another reason as to why \u200cNational Coming Out Day\u2062 is so important. And she \u2064manages to dig \u200can even deeper hole\u200c for herself in the process. Really,\u200c she\u200c completely blows up \u200bthe whole premise of \u201cNational\u2064 Coming Out Day\u201d\u2063 without even\u2064 realizing it. Watch:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Well, the two \u200dof you don\u2019t have two children. One of you \u200bhas children. But let\u2019s not get technical. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What this GLAAD woman is otherwise describing is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/book-review-proof-that-wokeness-is-projection-by-nervous-racist-white-women-who-cant-talk-to-minorities-without-elaborate-codes\/\" title=\"BOOK REVIEW: Proof That Wokeness Is Projection By Nervous, Racist White Women Who Can\u2019t Talk To Minorities Without Elaborate Codes\">normal human interaction<\/a>. It\u2019s not \u201ccoming out.\u201d So, the entire \u200didea of \u201cNational Coming Out\u2064 Day,\u201d according to the CEO of GLAAD, is really complete \u2062nonsense. It\u2019s\u200d designed to solve a problem that doesn\u2019t even exist. These people aren\u2019t even pretending to be persecuted; they\u2019re just \u200dcomplaining about having to introduce themselves. So \u200bit\u2019s reasonable \u2064to ask, how did this fake holiday even come about in the first place? \u2064Who \u2062came up with this \u200bidea?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Elsewhere in\u200d that interview,\u200b the GLAAD CEO briefly goes \u2062into\u2062 some detail about the history of National Coming Out Day. She lies about it, so there\u2019s no\u2062 point in showing it to you. \u200cBut if \u2064you dig into National Coming Out Day, you\u2019ll find that it was founded by a woman named Jean \u2063O\u2019Leary. Who is Jean O\u2019Leary? She was a \u2062feminist who really didn\u2019t like transvestites or drag queens. We don\u2019t have to guess about that. She said it on film at a rally in 1973. Watch:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are opposed \u200dto the exploitation of women by \u2062men for entertainment or\u200c profit. \u2026 Men have been telling us who we are for all our lives.\u200c \u2026 Men have never been able to show us ourselves.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is what the founder of National Coming Out Day \u2063stood for, just\u2063 a few decades ago. Men with fetishes are not, in fact, women. That\u2019s \u2063what she\u2019s \u200csaying and she could not have been clearer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of course, later \u200cin life, she recanted, and bent the \u2062knee. But this is what she stood for. Now the gender \u2062cult is papering over that little inconsistency. They\u2019re lying about the history \u200dof this fake holiday, just like they lie about what happened at Stonewall, just like they lie about Matthew \u200bSheppard, just like they lie about the \u201cnational state of emergency\u201d facing their supposedly marginalized fanbase, just like they lie about \u200dliterally everything all\u200c the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They\u2019re lying so much, and so\u200d desperately, because the truth could not \u200cbe clearer. The LGBT club is not oppressed. A country\u2062 does not \u200chave 50 fake holidays to celebrate a group of people it is oppressing. Celebrities do not go out of their way to be a part of a truly marginalized and bullied\u2063 community. A club does not grow in membership so rapidly if being in the club is a ticket to persecution. No, it goes the opposite way. For the individual, identifying as LGBT means\u200d social capital and\u200c cultural\u200d influence. For the Powers That Be, the more people who \u200bidentify as LGBT, the more votes they get, the\u2064 more power they wield.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is\u2063 what it\u2019s all about, and has always been about. But it didn&#8217;t. The fact that nothing happened after National Coming Out Day should \u200dmake us \u2062question the narratives \u2064that the Left has been \u200cpushing.<\/p>\n<p>This holiday also\u200d highlights the\u2063 absurdity of the whole gender identity movement. With the infinite number of sexual identities that\u2062 people claim\u200c to identify\u2063 as, it\u200c seems that there is a continuous need for separate days of\u2063 celebration. Why couldn&#8217;t people come out during Pride\u200b month or any of\u2064 the other designated \u200cdays for the LGBTQ+ community? Why do \u2064they\u200c need their own \u2063special\u200d day in mid-October? It seems like a performance art, an exaggeration of the whole concept of gender identity.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the fact that the White House held a\u200c meeting with &#8220;Latino LGBTQI+ leaders&#8221; to mark National \u2064Coming Out Day shows\u200c that\u2062 this holiday is not a\u2064 fringe event. It is being promoted and celebrated \u2062by\u2062 influential organizations and individuals. The largest school system in Los Angeles even \u200bdecided \u200dto\u2063 dedicate \u2062a whole week\u2062 to celebrate this day, which goes \u2064against the idea that it should be just one day.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, \u2064National Coming Out Day exposes the hypocrisy of the Left. They claim that \u2063there\u200c is a nationwide state of emergency for the LGBTQ+ community, but \u2062when people publicly declare their sexual identity, nothing \u200chappens.\u2062 No consequences, no backlash. It undermines the narratives of oppression and victimhood that have been pushed for\u2063 years.<\/p>\n<p>So, I celebrate National Coming Out Day not because\u200b I believe in the cause behind \u2064it, but because\u200b it has unwittingly debunked the narratives \u2063of oppression and \u200bvictimhood. It has shown that the LGBTQ+ community\u200b is not under\u2062 a constant threat, as \u200bwe have been led\u200b to believe.\u2064 It is\u200c time to question the \u200dnarratives and agendas that\u2063 are\u200c being pushed on \u200cus and\u200d focus \u200bon real\u2063 issues \u200cthat affect everyone, regardless of their sexual \u200corientation or gender\u2063 identity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>never too late to celebrate &#8220;National Coming Out Day,&#8221; even if we missed it by a few days.
