She questioned whether\u200c his lawyer would vigorously defend him. The defense immediately seized upon this argument, causing a delay in the proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Woodward refused to waive his right to\u200b question any witness&#8217;s character or credibility. She criticized him for citing three\u2063 cases from outside the 11th Circuit that couldn&#8217;t be used as\u2062 proper parallels. However, she noted that Nauta should\u2064 be aware of this.
