Roger Williams (R-TX) expressed \u200chis outrage on Thursday after a sign declaring his support for Israel mysteriously disappeared from his Washington office. The sign, \u200cfeaturing the Israeli\u2063 flag and the\u200b words &#8220;I stand \u200dwith Israel,&#8221; \u2064had been proudly displayed\u2062 outside his office in the Capitol. Williams took to \u200dX, formerly known as Twitter, to share\u2062 a photo of the sign earlier that\u2062 day.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Last night, someone came to my DC office and took down my Stand With Israel sign. \u2062Let me be clear, \u2062I will not \u200bbe deterred by this vandalism,\u2064 we must support Israel in its fight\u2062 against\u200b evil \u2062and hate,&#8221; Rogers wrote on X Thursday, alongside a photo of himself with two new signs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Williams wasted no time in\u200d reporting the incident to the Capitol Police, who have launched an investigation into the matter. The U.S.\u2063 Capitol Police confirmed their involvement to the Washington Examiner. The sign \u2062had been put\u2064 up by Williams in response to the recent \u200bescalation of violence between Hamas and Israel, with Hamas launching thousands of rockets and sending fighters into Israel during the Jewish \u2064holiday of Simchat\u200d Torah.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;If you want to come by tonight,\u200b I&#8217;ll be here,&#8221;\u2063 Rogers said in a \u200cvideo posted to X on Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Interestingly, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) continues to proudly display a Palestinian flag\u2064 outside her House\u2063 office, despite the invasion \u200cof Israel by Hamas. Unlike Williams&#8217; sign, Tlaib&#8217;s flag has\u200c not been stolen or vandalized. \u200dIn\u2063 response to these events, Rep.
